someone said that the timer will overflow at 601 hours in the game clock. and if so, shouldn't it take only 24 days to restart the clock?

Someone's already asked that. Here's the first thing you quoted.

601 hours makes out as 25 days and 1 hour not 2 years 98 days 12 hours,6 minutes and 26.2666.

Notice the (theoretically)? That means that going by Terence's calculations, the timer keeps counting for 2 years, 98 days, 12 hours, 6 minutes, 28.2666 seconds, even though the graphical display only shows a green 99:59:59.

There's your answer.

what does it mean by "theoretically?" (does it mean the timer keeps going and going and going until 2 plus years? has it already been proven?)
