This is a good strategy. I thought Adel's difficulty wasn't on her causing a lot of damage, it was on making sure your attacks wouldn't kill Rinoa. I don't use my GFs there because they'd do 9999 damage to both Rinoa and Adel. I don't use Squall's limit breaks, either, because if he uses something like a Blasting Zone, he'll also kill Rinoa with it. Meltdown + physical attacks against Adel should defeat her, and Zell's Armageddon Fist also works well.

haven't you be reading anything on my last post? Listen this is how it is: I didn't spend extra time on FFVIII searching for rare objects, super-duper magic and insane progress with lvl's, I just wen't through the storyline as fast as I could, I don't really have time to spend hours and hours trying to be the best, I just want to finish as fast as possible (so pending on my situation i would like a fast, efficient way to beat adel), and no i don't have Armaggedon Fist either.

You can pump out more damage using Zell than Squall anyway. Just keep repeating Punch Rush and Booya incredibly fast.

I think Zell automatically has Armageddon Fist. That limit break isn't really called Armageddon Fist in the game, it just means you keep repeating two of Zell's attacks that are fastest to select, such as Punch Rush and Booya. For the record, I didn't spend much extra time on building up my characters on my first game of FFVIII. They weren't powerful at all, but they still defeated Adel with relative ease.

    Here's all you need:
    Recover ability
    Shell
    Aura
    *100% for earth defense
    Triple

    1. Shell on Rinoa
    2. Triple on whoever has Aura
    3. Triple Aura on party
    4. Use limits like crazy (single target limits only of course)
    5. Use recover on Rinoa every once in awhile

It doesn't take as long as you think to make your characters strong. It does take time, but if you know what you're doing it shouldn't take too long. This is FF, remember. If you're planning on running through it in the shortest amount of time possible without bulking up your characters, you're going to have trouble.

If you are mid-level (30-60ish), then you can draw some pretty decent magic from enemies and Junction that. If you keep your levels low throughout the game and Junction just moderate-level magic then it should be fairly easy to run through it like you want to.

I think so many people have trouble with Adel because they use their GFs to blast their way through the game and neglect drawing and Junctioning. Then when they get to Adel, they end up killing Rinoa because the GFs are all multi-target attacks. If they can't use their GFs then they get slaughtered because their stats are horrible.

Like Sephiroth1999AD said, Armageddon fist is just a Duel strategy where you use only Punch Rush and Booya over and over again. This way you can get over 20 attacks in under 12 seconds.

Quistis's most powerful Blue Magic is Shockwave Pulsar. It has been known to break the damage limit of 9999 like Eden, although I have never done it myself. You need 1 Dark Matter to teach it to her. That is obtained by refining 100 Curse Spikes using Siren's Tool-RF when she is at level 100. Her second most powerful Blue Magic is Ray-Bomb, and you can teach her that with a Power Generator.

There is no Hastaga in 8. I'm pretty sure the only game that has that is 10 and probably 10-2.

Just aura Irvine and limitbreak with AP ammo. Heal Rinoa when needed.
    Not that hard.

hmm, this seems reasonable enough, 10x, i'll give it a try Athough instead of 100% earth defense i think i'll try a triple float because i have like 14 quakes.
Oh and one more thing, where can i find some pulse ammo? (12 to be more specific) If I find that i can upgrade to lionheart, since i already have adamantine and dino bones

You can refine Pulse Ammo from Energy Crystals. Energy Crystals are won from Elnoyles. Go talk to the guy by the entrance of Esthar and he will morph into one and attack you.

FFVI has Hastega, though most people would know it by 'Haste 2'.

Uh...yeah. I hit her. Probably with Zell. I remember it didn't take too long though.

Collect 100 Curse Spikes and use Siren's Tool-RF Ability to refine all 100 into a Dark Matter. Dark Matter can be used in one of two ways: You can use Bahamut's Forbid Mag-RF Ability (not Forbid Med-RF) to refine 1 Dark Matter into 100 Ultimas. Dark Matter can also be used to teach Griever's Limit Break, Shockwave Pulsar, to Quistis...

The meltdown see if u can draw them from Mesmerize!

Go into the battle with low health and use Limit Breaks.

(Repeat the same process for all other monsters and bosses in the game)
