I refuse to see Titanic ever.

I've never seen it either. I've mentioned this to people before and they've looked at me like I'd just offended their god.

It made close to 2 billion worldwide. So yeah, I think some people liked it.

I think Titanic is the only movie that comes to mind that I didn't enjoy despite huge popularity. That said, the only genre of movies that I buy are the historical epics and swordfighting movies, like Gladiator, Patriot, Last Samurai, Troy, etc. Titanic never had a fair chance. By the time I saw it, I was already irritated with its title song, which had been overplayed ad nauseum. I watched the movie expecting to be unimpressed, because I had already been annoyed by the constant publicity over it, and I left feeling just as I intended to feel about it when it was over.

i also hated that crappy neopolian dinomite thing good god that was bad....the godfather films or scarface arent anything to write home about either, not forgetting to mention the good, the bad and the ugly (im not a clint eastwood OR western fan so that sealed its fate).

but i have to admit for one of the most successful films of all time titanic aint half tripe, but the worst offender for me was FF10 and FF10-2 i know they arent stictly films they are still huge disapointments considering the amount of praise they garnered....

My sister and all her friends have some huge obsession with Highschool Musical... It's horrible! Like a lot of others, things like Scary Movie are ridiculous. I was made to watch the most recent one a while back, nearly died of boredom.

Wow. You name two incredibly overrated movies, and one movie which deserves it's status entirely.

Don't like Citizen Kane...? I mean, you're free to your own opinion, it's just hard to come to terms with the fact that such a perspective is physically possible.

Back to Saw: WTF? It's terrible and the only good thing in it is Henry Gale. It's a joke of a movie. Se7en is the only one of that genre I've ever thought anything of, though... mostly they just come across as pointless sadism for incredibly tenuous reasons.

I'm a fan of old movies, but for some reason, i couldn't get into this film at all. I thought it was incredably dull, and took an effort to watch it. If i was to give it anything, it was original for it's time, & and had a good idea behind the storyline, but compared to the status it has, i find that it was over-rated.
