i think suiko2 only took about 50 h and i never bothered with extra endings

You played Suikoden II for 50 hours? O_o I spend 30 hours per playthrough, sometimes less. Which includes getting all 108 characters and the best ending, along with doing all the cooking sidequests (though not bothering to get all the recipes).
