I can't really say that I do, considering I'm not even completely out of my child-hood yet. However, I wouldn't go as far as to say that someone around the age of, say, 8, is someone to be hated just due to their age and inexperience. They're just not someone I'm going to hang out with, because they're at a stage of development besides my own, so I'd probably feel as though I'm baby-sitting them. It seems like the only ages that are really compatible are the ones above 25, because everyone above that age thinks they're old.

Kids rule. The only thing I have found that I really can't stand is them going around and picking everything up...but I blame the parents for that one. Look with your eyes and not with your hands.

Screaming, running around and asking trillions of retarded questions do not bug me in the slightest.

Kids are never annoying and babies are even less! They're innocent little cute angels! ^^ Everytime I see a kid on the street I hug my bf and say 'OMG that kid is soooooooooooooooo cute'! So for me kids are never annoying! They just get annoying when they're 10

Yeah, for some reason this post scares the living hell out of me.

And I generally hate kids. Don't think I'll ever have any.

such extremes the young have...TOO MUCH ENERGY...and lack of care for anything, the masters of annoyance, id rather not have to deal with a child if i can help it(until i have my own) but thats what my wife will be for. and honestly, old people are worse than kids -.- its like once you hit a certain age you become uber pissed and strict and always bitch people out for nothing, complete rudeness sets in as you become the idol of all who love to be asses
The lance strikes when it sees fit
Cutting the bonds of the ones we love
    In time all shall dissapear
    Leaving mass disillusion and despair
Some will find comfort in faith
    Struck by unbeheld horrors
Somewhat the vision of a wraith
We all lose the ones we love, the ones we didnt, and the ones we never got the chance to love
But if it wasnt for this lance, striking down its prey
The most beautiful emotion of all would be forever hidden
    Sorrow...

I used to hate even the idea of children, but sometimes when I'm not looking my maternal instincts kick in and I rub my stomach with anticipation.

    Boldly go.

Suppress that urge! You have free will! Fight the power!

I see children as a financial burden. You can't exactly counter that unless you do something like equate subjective mental benefits with monetary sums of money (think of the good times and memories you will get raising a child! Wouldn't I have fun regardless, or are you saying children are a necessary component of enjoyment?)

You hate them because they were misbehaving? That's a bit hypocritical if you ask me, because I'm sure you have been badly behaving in your childhood at least once or more.

I know i should be too.. but for some reason i dont

You've already got a GF, Aerith.

    It's true. Children are an extreme financial burden;
However, children are also a form of retirement plan.

Think of all the errands and assistance they may provide when you're too old and feeble to do any of it yourself. Not to mention that a lot of old people tend to fight depression caused by lonliness - and having obligatory family gathering and just family in general tends to remove some of that.

Ah ya tired of those rowdy runts always running about and knocking things down? Is the noise of their giggles and fits and whining for their selfish wants given you a deathly headache? Are you finding yourself about ready to knock some heads or strangle'em to shut'em up? Don't waste your energy.
Just send the little buggers to Mad Mod's School for Misbehavin' Children. I'll straigten'em out... the ol' British way.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.
