The Shins are nice, yes, but Frou Frou on that is WAY better.

ANYWAY, I really like movies scores (the orchestral or whatever) music as a genre a LOT. My favorite composer is Tomas Newman (Angels in America, Erin Brachovich, Finding Nemo, etc). He has his own amazingly unique style. I also really love Harry Gregson-Williams (Narnia movies) and Hishashi Joe (the Miyazaki Ghibli movies). And the soundtracks to the first two NeverEnding Story movies and Labyrinth and Legend (both versions) and . . . on and on. :P

Labyrinth >.<, Kill Bill, Requiem for a Dream, LoTR, Crouching Tiger, Nightmare Before Christmas, Princess Monononononononoke, Laputa, Spirited Away, Amelie, The Matrix all have a couple of tunes that I like to listen to from time to time.

    You have excellent taste.

There's something inherently disappointing about success.
Every time I hear that line I'm laughing so hard I can never hear Kitty's reply. That and him playing around with the katana.

So you seen any G&S live? Acorn media has a great DVD boxed set. Expensive though.

It is a great movie, very different to what Mike Leigh usually does as well. Though his other stuff is still very good. But I watched Topsy Turvy one Christmas on TV and it is terrific.

    Vanilla Sky...

The soundtrack far outshines the film.

Are you seriously suggesting the more recent version of The Producers is better than the original? Because if you are, I have to strongly disagree.

I liked the original movie and the Broadway show, but the movie of the Broadway show wasn't so great.
