Just looks like a kung-fu movie with Dragon Ball mythos and imagery slapped over it.
This will, at best, become a cult classic among Dragon Ball fans who don't take themselves too seriously. The rest of the fans will be too busy nerding it up over all the changes they made.

Piccolo, Goku, and Master Roshi are all wrong, now wait, everyone is and it seems like the plot isn't even consistent with the show since when have the dragonballs been a threat to the world.
the dragon balls have been a threat since the beginning as illustrated in GT by the heros overusing them they released all the negative energy they collected in the form of Dark Dragons and other threats to galactic peace... they're also a threat if they fall into the wrong hands, i.e. someone or something with malicious intent...
