Communism is a great idea. But it doesn't work. By creating a power-infrastructure you have people with power fighting other people with power. And as long as anyone can rise to become those people with power and the power struggle maintains to be everlasting, the land/country/world will stay free. You can try and get rid of that power, but you have someone you will always have someone trying to gain power. People aren't perfect, people have greed, people want strength. So to get rid of people's natural desire for power you need to create a government, which in turns holds the people down. But who holds that power? And who stops the holder of that power from becoming corrupt? And if someone overthrows someone stricken with greed, who stops that person from becoming greedy? And continue that to infinity.

A struggle for power, creates a democracy, it drives people to do good. You're type of altruistic idea of "freedom" doesn't work, and starts dictatorships.
