Umm, that's not new. Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign is only recognized by a small group of astrologers. It is not recognized by most astrologers, or in what we normally think of when thinking of astrology.

Also, if you want to get nitty-gritty, your sun sign only plays a part in your astrology. Your moon sign and ascending are just as important. The position of the other planets play a role too, as well as their relation to one another (whether some aspects are in opposition, conjunction, at 90 degrees, 60 degrees, etc...), though sun, moon and ascending are treated as foremost.

I have a plethora of interests and astrology has always been one of them. Also, I have friends who are really into it so I pick up information from them too.
