The Drunk Thread

Bars are too expensive and full of very annoying people. I used to do the bar thing all the time, but I enjoy an evening with friends on most occasions.

EDIT: Just thought out this some more, I realized my dismissive attitude was a tad unfair. It really depends on where you live with going out and drinking, no matter if it is at a bar or not. In my area most bars are full of males puffing out their chest trying to prove who is the biggest alpha male. Most females judge each other and act catty even though they all act exactly the same, down to how they dress. Loud, obnoxious top 40 hits are constantly played, and most pop music these days are bootleg club hits that maybe have six or seven lines that aren't part of an overly long chorus.

Having said that, there are a couple of bars I still go to on occasion with some friends that are quieter and more friendly. I still enjoy doing that.

Also, I am 29, close to 30, so going out to party is old, especially when most lively places are full of people several years younger than you.

Long story short, to each their own. I just didn't appreciate your snobby post, Zeldy.
