It (They) appear dangerous, though only one "set" of them is dangerous. This could refer to a final form of one thing, or a combination of three things. Without delving too deep, it appears to rule out the idea of the answer being one thing that is simply referred to in three different ways. The way the riddle is written suggests that it is the latter idea of three individual things -

Oh wait. There's no indication that there are only three things. It could be a dozen things that are represented in three ways. In this sense it could even be Zorn and Thorn (represented as Jesters, Mages and a Monster), though it doesn't seem likely. Shinwa, consider that a guess anyway xD.
