I used 5x L1 cards on a fair number of games to beat Queen of Cards, but not Dr. Kadowaki. But it is still possible to beat Dr. Kadowaki using L1 cards. I used L3-5 cards to beat Dr. Kadowaki, though, and have beaten her a few times using 5x L3 cards.

EDIT: Formalhaut, just lose, but don't worry about it. If you forfeit, you lose anyway and the cards still get taken from you if there are cards up for grabs... so for the sake of participation (completing a game earns you a card, it should be noted), you should definitely complete the game.

I'm not out quite yet! Only lost against Rantz so far, so my fate now lies in the hands of Quin and Mirage. =O If I beat Quin and whoever wins between Quin and Mirage beats Rantz, then there will be a 3-man tie! =O

...beating Jiro for runner up will be almost impossible without the combo rule though. =(
