Yep, controller. Heard absolutely everywhere that KB+M is terribad for this game.

Killed the final boss without parrying...
...because I used Pursuers and Black Flame to blow him up in about forty-five seconds.
rang the second bell, was very dissapointed when
(SPOILER)the fire keeper lady was dead upon my return to the firelink shrine. i never got her to upgrade my estus flasks.
took out queelag with a co-op of a strong magician and the meat cutting lady that attacks you in the swamp
the song that plays in the sister cave is my fave in the game so far
krissy, just wait until you're in anor londo. you can upgrade your estus flask there.
Have fun in Sen's Funhouse! be wary of mimicry.
Sorcery really is easy mode. NG+ and rang the first bell in under an hour.
Yes indeed. With the new Dark sorceries even PvP is a breeze for sorcerers. But I find sorcery the least fun way to play both in PvE and PvP, as it mostly revolves around auto-lock and homing projectiles. The thrill of being in an up close melee brawl is way more fun and rewarding for me, so I'll stay away from sorcery.
Edit: It's even come to the point where I've stopped summoning people who have sorcery-stuff equipped like the Moonlight Greatsword or Catalysts. Mages tend to ruin the tension of a bossfight.
That is pretty sweet!

Messed around with the Level 1 Pyromancer for a while last night. Was thinking of going through the game as far as I can with it and getting into the Darkwraith Covenant. Saw some advice for it online, and looks like it is in line with what I was planning. Just upgrading weapons, armor, and the flame. Doesn't sound too hard besides having to beat the Four Kings with minimal equipment. Should be fun.
I can agree with that. I usually play a 2H strength and smack things with a greatsword in most games, felt like a change of pace. I'm gonna pick up a strength/faith character my next time through. The bosses that I was unable to take out with sorceries (Stray Demon, O&S, Capra) definitely stood out as the most memorable fights solely because of the challenge factor.
Oh, you're going to have fun on all the other bosses. Heh, I can't wait to hear your updates on a new character.
Sorceries basically demolish bosses in this game, and I hate summoning people who use it. I like longer intense fights, and bringing a sorcerer along just... kills that intensity.
Strength faith builds are OH so much fun, and are my second favorite types of builds. I go high str, like 16 dex, and as high faith as my build allows. Miracles are a lot more interesting than sorceries as well in my opinion. With force, heal, homeward, and the ability to throw lightning.
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy
So far so awesome. Grabbed Elite Knight set, Astora's + Dragon Crest, killed Havel with lots of backstabs with a sharp stick. Just got the Claymore and I'm tearin' it up. Gonna blow up the gargoyles in a bit and then agonize over the Capra Demon for a while like always.
Upgrade the Balder shield a bit, and you'll be able to block the Capra Demon's attacks. Makes that fight so much less ridiculous. xD
Got Capra down in one attempt. I'M BECOMING A MAN.
The balder shield is easily my favorite shield in the game. it weighs 4 and has a crapton of stability.
Get it, get it nao.
(You can also buy it in sens fortress for 4000 souls)
Eyyyyyyyyyyyyy
In my opinion, it's the best shield until you can get hold of a Silver Knight Shield.
