resident evil 6: nobody cares anymore

It's a lose-lose for Capcom either way. They keep this style they've got going now, and the fans bitch about them being more action-based. You keep the old style but tweak it to fit the demands of the 21st century, and you'll still have fans bitching and a drop off in sales. They cannot win in this scenario either way. The answer here is, let them do whatever they wanna do, basically.

I got this for Christmas. Started with Leon's campaign because Mr. Scott Kennedy is the greatest, and wasn't enjoying it much at all. I can't tell you how annoying it is that zombies can take multiple headshots to kill. But then I read Jake's chapter was chronologically first so I started as him Sherry goddamn Birkin and holy trout it's the best Resi ever I can't believe the difference.

I wonder what Chris is like.

Yup that's a pretty good summation of Resident Evil 6.

RE5 was awesome as long as you were playing with a friend rather than fighting with the npc.
Both RE4 and RE5 had that one difficult level around the beginning of the game but it wasn't as bad in 5. I'm actually okay with the style they went for.
If you're really wanting a scare I recommend playing Revelation for the 3DS. That game was pretty scary.
Sadly I started losing interest in the Resident Evil series when it came to games like Operation Raccoon City. They seemed pretty interesting but I just didn't think it would be worth a try. After a while I started reading reviews and hearing others talk about the game and they said it wasn't as good as they hoped.
6 seemed to be more based off of action than horror and I found out that the zombies were more intelligent and could use items themselves. It had a lot of interesting features... but it just wasn't enough to convince me to buy it.

I've finished Leon, Chris, and Jake's campaigns. I honestly don't see how it got some of the low scores it's received. Is it anything like classic RE? Nope. Is it even right to label it "survival horror"? Nope. Is it a bad game? Nope.

It's a very polished, very pretty, very fun game. It's also very Japanese. The story is silly, but no more silly than the previous games.

Oh, and it does have one thing is has that none of the other RE games had: competent voice acting.

I got this for my birthday. As soon as Mr Shauna and I finish up B'lands 2, we shall be pressing on with this! Should be a bunch of laughs. :}
