I didn't get involved in this contest but just want to say that upon reading it today, I'm impressed in just how much time, energy and money that was invested in it. Well done to everyone involved, from participants to judges to hosts. When I heard about the contest I initially was sceptical it would even finish.

It was a lot of fun. There were some bumps in the road, but it was the first one. That just means we know how to make it better for the next one.

Thanks to everyone who participated. All of the dishes were yummy and interesting. It was a lot of fun. And thanks to the judges who took time and effort to cook the dishes.
