FFX-1 (minus one, not dash one): Before All That Other Stuff.
The game switches between groups as you finish various chapters, sort of like in FFVI. One story focuses on Jecht, Braska and Auron. Other chapters could surround Lulu (http://I find this to be a great rea...d into a story), Wakka, Kimahri and Rikku. Perhaps Cid. Stuff like that would be really neat, rather than making a full-blown epic story ~again~. I think the very best FF prequel story-wise focused on telling us what happened beforehand to Zack in FFVII, and I feel this kind of development could be really good for some of FFX's stuff. There could even be mini-chapters inbetween the big ones where you spend ten minutes dealing with some random puzzle/plotline about a vague NPC. Imagine a 20 minute mini-chapter focused on the life of Stay Away From The Summoner Lady! Another ten minute chapter later on where the Shoopuf farmer has to catch a rogue Shoopuf. Fifteen minutes spent being a warrior facing up to Sin. Little things like this could go a long way, don't need to be linked, but can be really enjoyable to help expand the lore of the world itself, and the world itself is amazing.
