Off the top of my head, "Musica Machina" and "Lenna's Theme" are awesome, but I love a lot of the songs from this OST.

True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: Step out the front door like a ghost into the fog Where no one notices the contrast of white on white And in between the moon and you, the angels get a better view Of the crumbling difference between wrong and right
as my picture can say. i really like galuf and the whole way through moore forest i always get sad because i know galufs fate. the dear friends version is really good also
yeah to me, FFV was the OST where Uematsu really came into his own as a composer. While I'm not in love with every track (hate the overworld map theme in the first world) I feel FFV had some phenomenal music.

I don't have a favorite song. Been way too long since I listened to any of the tracks.
Clash on the Big Bridge, obviously. Other highlights include Fate in Haze, Tenderness in the Air, Prelude to the Void, Seeking the Light, and The Silent Beyond.
I also have to agree with Canoe about this being the soundtrack where Uematsu grew the beard as a composer. Before that he had nice melodies but his arrangements left a bit to be desired. His arrangements took a quantum leap with this game and only got better with the next one.
