It might not happen today, it might not happen in the Euros, but it'll happen again when England show solid promise. They might have done well in qualifiers but from what I hear, the performances themselves haven't been terribly convincing. But we'll have to wait until the Euros before we can really know, I guess!

But c'mon. If it's not football, it's cricket. If it's not cricket, it's rugby. If it's not rugby, it's football. England demand an inquiry about not being the best! And if they are the best, they'll shout about it and then start an inquiry into how best to cut down their tall poppies.

Being a New Zealander, I can sympathise. When NZ lost a rugby game it wasn't much different. Well, okay, we're #1 ranked in the world so it's always an upset, but still. I guess NZ losing in the cricket is probably closer to England with football.

It has baffled me seeing all the fallout from England getting knocked out of the WC at the first hurdle at the hands of based Wales. There were only 2 spots and one of them was always going to be Australia. They screwed up at home to Wales and that's why they went out. There we go, I've saved you guys the inquest.

Shame about Krum's injury. I saw it happen, he'll be out for a while.

I guess Newcastle's losing streak will continue.. or will it? Maybe the second keeper is better, who knows.

It's because the English Football Team are no longer entitled to win everything, the English Rugby Team are.

Well come on, it has to be English something entitled to win. I'm personally hoping for Hot Dog eating next, we have to get someone to the world championships next year!

Why the hell did I say Krum instead of Krul? I haven't read HP in years. xD

Beginning to think Brendan Rodgers has put a voodoo curse on Liverpool with all these injuries. smurf me look at the bench for today: Substitutes: Bogdan, Toure, Randall, Allen, Teixeira, Ibe, Sinclair.

Who even are any of these people? "Allen"? What the smurf is an "Allen"?!

Scousers are playing well by all accounts. High pressing game seems to be working. They're all workshy s though and I reckon Spurs will bag a couple of late goals.

It was better than we've played 90% of the time this season and I enjoyed it, which is the first time I've done so in a while! Who knew that playing midfielder Emre Can in midfield would see him playing well? Madness. I still think we'll finish 6th or 7th though, especially with players being ruled out for the season left and right.

    You've got to be pleased!

Speaking of please, it's just so satisfying to see Jamie smurfing Vardy continue to utterly wreck the Premier League and Leicester time and time again getting out of trouble. I don't know how the smurf it's happening but it's a lot of fun.

Crystal Palace vs. West Ham was pretty exciting until Gayle (figuratively) poked someone in the eye.

Although he would have done it literally if he'd have gotten away with it.
