I let one of my friends talk me into creating a new Skyrim character after acquiring a new computer, just to see how well it runs compared to my old system. Time to not finish the game again.

Have been playing Child of Light with Danielle and find it really charming and enjoyable, although I do feel it really needed voice acting because the rhymes don't flow very well at all on a lot of occasions. The game is altogether really clever in how it gives two people completely different roles but doesn't leave either with nothing to do in all the different map areas.
Also, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is being played a lot right now because it is being awesome again with the new patch.

I finished Far Cry 3 last night. I really didn't like how they approached the open world formula coming off of Far Cry 2 but the shooting and animations/move sets were incredibly well done and I think they totally nailed the emotional aspect of the story they were going for. So even if I didn't spend a ton of time exploring, I still think it was a very memorable and overall well done story.
I'm also finishing the Campaign for the RTS Grey Goo and the second act of The Witcher 2 is coming to a close as well. I also jumped back to Far Cry 2 and have finished the first few missions of the second region. Also playing the occasional Dota game at least once a day.
Street Fighter II Champion Edition.

I'm currently starting a replay of inFamous Second Son to do nothing but evil, evil things. After that I'll probably end up picking up BF4 or FC4. Who knows at this point? Recommendations?
Also, played a ton of hours of Diablo III this evening.

My 6 year old nephew is playing Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures while I'm doing homework. He's wanted to play some of my games for a while now, and this is the first chance he's gotten to really play something. He's just started so I hope he likes it. He doesn't like the cutscenes and dialogue. Luckily, I chose one that's light on story so he doesn't get too impatient.
I managed to play some Pokemon X this week. Fun game. I'm already enjoying the little group that travels with you.

So Zelda was a bust. He didn't like the puzzle element. So he wanted to try Metroid Prime. It was safe enough, especially at the start. "Worst game ever." Again, the puzzles were too much for him. So on to Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7. Same problem, but there's more to do to keep him occupied when he gets impatient with the puzzles. He likes the sail boat in the pond outside Grimauld Place. :)

Final Fantasy XII. The video output of the PS2 sure looks pixelated on a HD screen, bothered me a bit how the game looked at first but suddenly it isn't so bar.
I wonder if SE is planning to do a HD remaster of this game, they haven't released it even as a PS2 classic on the PSN store.

Yeah. That's the problem with the whole Graphic Adventures, especially from LucasArts. If you know where you are going with them, and the solution to the puzzles, then you realise that they aren't very lengthy. But quality over the quantity...or duration in this case. You could probably bust through The Secret of Monkey Island in two hours or so if you went full pelt.
Life is Strange is worth checking out for the first episode. It's not coming across to me as a classic just yet, but i'm intrigued to see how the story will unfold. =)

I was just learning consciousness when the game first came out. :) This is my first time actually playing any version of it. I like it, despite its simplicity, but the story elements (the constant dialogue interruptions) seem a little drawn out - and not exactly that humorous.
But give me Count Duckula over DuckTales anyday! Well the TV series. The Count Duckula game they made was pretty abysmal! :(
Played some WWE 12 last night. I don't know how they managed to do it, but the Universe mode is even worse! They expect you to play through the whole show instead of just taking you back to the menu after a single match, so I have to keep quitting the game after my match is over. That's bulltrout.

Playing Co-op games with a friend of mine, mostly derpy games so we can laugh at it. Playing Res 5 right now, got stuck for hours on a boss, until we found out we can cheat with a rocket launcher...
10 grenade shells, 5 full tanks of napalm, 4 grenades, and about 400 rounds of bullets did nothing. But 1 rocket..

Criminal Girls: Invite Only. Okay, once you get over the creepiness of the games 'Motivation' system (I can take it as the joke it pretty much is, but yeah, it's kind of horrifying. :p), this game has writing that is far better then a game like this has the right to have. That last stretch of game I made it through was wonderfully written and executed.

I'll have to add that to my IGC. I looked at it and thought "nah". But it's not technically free so I might as well make the most of my subscription. I've added Transistor, heard that's pretty good but I'm not sure it's for me if it involves too much tactics. Will have to get around to playing inFamous First Light as well once I've finished what I'm currently playing. Which is what this thread is about, so let me get right back on topic!

I made a bit more progress today, and I'm around 35% done according to the last save. Whether that's just for the main story or all the side stuff as well, I don't know. I'm just focusing on the story though. Determined to complete a GTA! I've played III, Vice City, San Andreas and IV but completed none of them. Always ended up getting bored or stuck. Out of all of them I'm probably having the most fun with V.

I was playing this last time I posted, but since then I haven't played it much. I picked it up again last night, and I'm halfway through. The story feels like it's just about starting to come together now, so I look forward to uncovering the mystery.
- Resident Evil Re-remake
This is a good remake. It captures the essence of the original game perfectly. The atmosphere, the door / lift animations, the camera angles, the type writers. This IS Resident Evil! I've been a bit heavy on the use of the ink ribbons though, and tonight I had to redo a section so I had an ink ribbon to use in a new location I come to. Before I got there after doing loads but didn't have a ribbon to save, then I died.

So I thought I'd wait for the PS+ version...that was a lie.
Because of that I'd been contemplating not buying it at all. But with PS+ you can buy the "PS+ Edition Upgrade" (...) for £19.99. With the 10% off Sony was offering a few weeks back I got it for £17.99. I'm glad I bought it in the end. I don't tend to play many racing games (the last one I played was Burnout Paradise) but I'm having fun with it. I'm still not sure I forgive Evolution for making this over a new MotorStorm, though! Hopefully they get a chance to make another one, if they somehow manage to get back on track no pun intended after the poor DriveClub launch.

I finally got back to Counter-Strike: GO to see what it looks like @ 144Hz and I gotta say, I'm really impressed with where the game stands right now. It's pretty much the Counter-Strike I hoped it would be at launch but with all the great online framework Valve has learned from actively supporting Dota and Team Fortress.
I also started Civilization: Beyond Earth and it's a ton of fun so far.
Also still playing Grey Goo and Dota 2. It's awesome seeing classic PC genres thriving with all the polish of these new and ongoing titles.

It's worth it to "buy" the free games in the IGC even if you don't download them, that way you still have the free license after Sony removes them from the monthly rotation. You can then download them whenever. Rogue Legacy is stellar, especially on Vita. It has that "one more run" addictiveness. Drive Club is a pretty phenomenal racer, I can only imagine what a new MotorStorm would be like with that engine :eek:. I also need to get around to playing Infamous First Light.

Currently playing Super Mario 64 for the first time ever (I picked up the DS version).
Overall, I like it. I can definitely see why a lot of people love the game. That said, it does have some odd design choices.
Turning can be really difficult. Since Mario has to actually take time to turn around, and will walk in a brief arc while turning, precision turns can be incredibly difficult, which is very frustrating on levels like Lethal Lava Land.
The adapted N64 controls also mean that it can be difficult to align Mario to any angle, as the analog stick just isn't quite smooth enough sometimes.
There are also some annoyances with the camera, as there have been in all of the 3D Mario games I've played, but I actually find that this game has one of the best cameras in the series. It freely rotates and can be set fairly easily to most angles.
The DS version has its own quirks as well. The new stars added in the DS version are really well integrated (although the new character system is a little awkward). The DS map can be very annoying, as not only does it show you where stars are, but it also makes them flash constantly, which is distracting and makes it impossible to ignore the feature. This was much better done on the Red Coins, where you have the option to see them on the map or not by talking to the Bob-omb Buddies.
That said, I really like the overall structure of the game, and I think that is what the game does best. Revisiting the worlds constantly and finding more and more in each one makes them feel better than the one-off worlds in most games. You get to really know each level, it's quirks and hidden secrets, and you enjoy hunting down a tricky star or two, or discovering something you hadn't known before. And, while the star structure can be limiting sometimes (Big Boo's Haunt, for example, where you HAVE to get the first star to unlock half the level), but for the most part, it's non-linear enough that it really rewards exploration. I tend to avoid the main star for the objective my first time into the level, and just explore to see what else I can find. Usually I'll be collecting the 100 Coins when I stumble into some little hidden alcove or something that leads to one of the later stars, and that is always a cool feeling.
It's a great little game. Not the best game, and still not as good as Super Mario World, but I would definitely rate it among the highest of the 3D Mario titles.

But on the N64, you can't play as Luigi or Yoshi, who are both clearly superior to Mario.
I'm starting to burn out a little on this game. The later levels get a little frustrating with the amount of instant death pits. Took me forever to get 100 Stars on Tiny-Huge Islands. I currently have 8 stars in the first 13 levels, so I'm nearly done, but I don't know that I want to take on the last two. Especially since I'll probably have to go through more Bowser levels, which are my least favorite part of the game. Then there's the rest of the Secret Stars, and I'm just not sure it's worth it.
Still, fun game overall, I think I just hit a burn-out point with it.

Ocarina of Time 3D
I caved and finally bought it. I only got it a couple weeks ago, but held off playing until the New 3DS. When I sampled it on the old 3DS, I could already see the "sweet spot" problems. The New 3DS more or less fixes the problem. I still see echoes of Navi and Link in dark places (I now realize that's probably why Nintendo brightened up Gohma's lair and tombs), and the only way to fix that it seems to almost turn 3D off. But that's no fun! I also noticed that turning on 3D loses some texture smoothness, but I only notice it when I'm t looking for it.
I've played the N64 game to death so I'm loving all the added details to the environments. They are beautiful! I've only just beaten Dodongo's Cavern and gotten my magic meter. But wow! The colours are rich and I like finding the "secret" posters just out of normal sight. Fun little discoveries. :) I'll probably skip Master Quest, though. I didn't like it on Gamecube, and I doubt an inverted layout will change my opinion on what I consider poorly redesigned dungeons.
Can't wait to play Majora's Mask 3D and replay A Link Between Worlds.

You don't have to turn 3D on. It's completely optional. But then again, if you already have a working system that plays MM, then I guess that info still shouldn't matter to you.

Just finished my replay of XII. After taking down Yiazmat (hadn't attempted it before), I felt that after such an epic fight it was the best moment to wrap it up and finish the game. Had a blast with the game, here is hoping for a HD remaster soon.
Next I am considering jumping to IX, since it is the only FF (excluding I-III) that I haven't replayed out of the main series (and sequels) in my current FF spree. But Ivalice still has my attention and jumping to Tactics looks tempting as well.
Which way should I go? :)

The story (and more specifically the characters) is the key to the game for me. I think I was story-starved from forcing myself to play FFXIII, so this has been a breath of fresh air. The characters are wonderfully written.
As far as IX vs. Tactics, I'd go with Tactics. They're both great games, obviously, but if you're enjoying Ivalice, there's really only one choice. (and after FFT, you should play Vagrant Story).

I'm playing Majora's Mask 3D too. I just got the Gilded Sword and am going to start the Lon Lon Ranch quests on this new cycle. This is about as far as I've ever gotten. So I'm pretty excited.

Indeed they are and the voice acting is really great too.
As far as IX vs. Tactics, I'd go with Tactics. They're both great games, obviously, but if you're enjoying Ivalice, there's really only one choice. (and after FFT, you should play Vagrant Story).
Yeah I think I'll pick up and replay Tactics since I did start replaying IX, got pass the first disc even; but I hardly have any motivation to continue with it. Game really doesn't do it for me. I finished it back when it came out but never really felt like playing it again. Vagrant Story is great as well, I have it around too; might revisit it some day as well.

The downsides to it are that it's not as fun as FFTA was for me, and to my dismay the other races are apparently non-existant (or very close to it). I'm told they don't really feature. Gutted. I love the Bangaa race in particular, their design is awesome.
Music in the game is top drawer, too.

No other races, incredibly over-complicated combat mechanics, and a much darker story with some really detestable characters (if you like that sort of thing).
FFTA is so much better.
The original does have some fantastic music, though. I'll give it that.

I'm still trying to make my way through Final Fantasy XIII, some games keep me distracted, nooo....
I mean Warframe.... I know Warframe not as good as Destiny. But if only Destiny out for PC, I think I would be spending most of my time on it, but since it's not, I just gonna play Warframe. I just completed Bioshock Infinite. And the story is kinda hard to understand. Still awesome game. I think gonna play the DLC too.

This weekend Shauna and I had a turn each at Journey, Dat Matt and smittenkitten were playing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and we all played Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. I've also tapped away a little more at Final Fantasy Tactics. I expect to be playing FFT and the recently downloaded Diablo III over the coming days.

I decided I was going to practice the Mega Man games on an emulator and give myself infinite lives and weapon energy (because they disappear from levels until you game over). I didn't give myself infinite health, however. I still needed the threat of dying to help me practice.
I started with the first game. I decided I was going to fight all the Robot Masters in their own levels with only the buster, but use their weaknesses during the fortress re-fight. I learned exploitable patterns from watching other people play. So even spastic bosses like Elec Man can be easy if you can get a simple rhythm down. Ice Man was the hardest, though. Dodging his ice spears are still difficult but can be fun.
Anyway, what I learned was that it didn't take me too long to figure out the levels. I played this game a little while ago on the PS2, and I had a hard time with it as I always do. Now, I soared through the levels like they were nothing. The only challenge was beating Elec Man and Ice Man buster only. And Wily Machine is joke. Before this game seemed ridiculously hard, but now it's easy crap! I can breeze through this game, and I love that.
Onward to Mega Man 2!... This is one I'm not looking forward to. Wood Man, Air Man, Quick Man (Oh God!), and Wily Level 4 (Dear God, no! Anything but that!).

^ Nice, XII is epic...I had a blast on my recent replay of it, clocked nearly 110 hours in that file and still could have kept going but I felt that after felling Yiazmat it was a nice moment to wrap things up and finish the game.
I sure hope we get an HD remaster of the international version soon!

Just practiced Mega Man 2 on emulator. I managed to get the hang of almost every robot master using only the buster except Quick Man and Air Man. Air Man still has patterns that seem near impossible to dodge, but he's still easy enough with just a buster. Quick Man is a jerk. Anyone who has played this game knows that Quick Man is a jerk. But I'm glad I got other bosses like Bubble Man and Wood Man where I can potentially do a no damage run if I really REALLY tried. I can usually dodge 95% of the attacks this time. :D
As for Wily levels, I finally got the hang of Guts-Dozer using only the buster. He's easy enough in concept, but the fact that he's moving makes it hard to dodge his fire and stay on the platform. BooBeam Trap is still a jerk. I know how to dodge its fire and I know where to stand to do so, but that doesn't mean I can always time it perfectly. This is especially so when I have to use items to elevate myself and focus on using my Crash Bombs wisely. Ugh! And Wily Machine 2 Second Form is still nearly impossible to dodge. Perfect runners on YouTube seem to agree. Blah!
Still, I know the game a little better so that I shouldn't have as much trouble from now on. Especially the Robot Masters! Except Quick Man. He can go spaz in a garbage crusher for all I care. :grumble:
EDIT: I just played through the game normally this time. I did pretty awesomely if I do say so myself. I didn't game-over once although I did pick up 1-Ups along the way so that did help. But still, I normally die at least three times as much as I did this time. I only had to use one energy tank, and that was because of Boobeam Trap. Although, I might not have needed had the emulator I was using didn't keep glitching the graphics and making me invisible. And yet, with that unhelpful glitch, I still did quite well. I was only using an emulator this time because people are sleeping and I like keeping the music loud. :) Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I could have beaten Boobeam Trap without an E-Tank... probably.
Overall, I'm very happy with my progress. This game is no longer a mortal fear of mine. :D It's still harder than the first game.

Helldivers, it's pretty amazing. Tactical twin-stick shmup action that's sort of like an overhead version of Destiny - big open areas with multiple objectives and co-op. Looks and runs great on Vita, can only imagine what it'll be like on PS4.

Chocobo Racing and Triple Triad in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and level-grinding and story-playing with Danielle (and solo when she's not playing) on Diablo III. Both Chocobo Racing and Diablo are repetitive and tedious and yet still quite addictive, but I can feel their grasp on me failing to hold already. I'm starting to wonder if I need a new and amazing modern console RPG that features heavily in story and gameplay alike to really keep my attention. Not sure what that game is yet, though. xD
Also had some great sessions of hide & seek in FFXIV with the gang. Awesome, hilarious fun. Can't wait to see the new maps in 3.0 if only so I can plan hide and seek spots in them. xD
Finished Beyond Two Souls today. Moving on to TWD Season 2 next.

This weekend, I've beaten both Pokémon Yellow and Dragon's Dogma. I'm pretty convinced I will not be diving into the grind-heavy, little-rewarding postgame content of Dragon's Dogma (despite the fact that it is still, technically, storyline). I attempted to go back to another game with an entire post-game story arc, the future arc of Tales of Graces f, but I quickly realized that I had forgotten so much about the combat that I'd never be able to pick it up adequately.
So with those options off the table...I think it's time.
Time to begin to epic, 250+ hour journey...of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD.

I've been playing My Game Console Can't Be This Cute AKA Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth. I'm enjoying it so far. It has a lot of funny moments and doesn't take itself to seriously. The battles are surprisingly difficult. And the music is great. There's a bunch of shout outs and references to everything videogames. Neptune herself basically hums to Final Fantasy fanfare sometimes when leveling.
Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair. Having lots of fun with it too.

Playing The Last Of Us Remastered now. It looks amazing and runs at a smooth 60fps. ND did a really great job in remastering this already gloriously looking game. Everything looks so crisp and just "pops". I own the PS3 version and it does seems like the game could well have been a PS4 launch title from the start.

I enjoyed that game, but I think it was one of those that was talked up way too much.
It wasn't perfect, the story wasn't as surprising as people seemed to want to tell you, and at some point Ellie just needs to learn to f*ing swim. I understand it was a puzzle mechanic, but sheez. You could have her slowly learning to swim and integrate new puzzle ideas instead of the same ol' "Ellie can't swim" thing. Joel teaching her that would just add to their bonding. You'd have
1) Better subtle character growth.
2) Better, less repetitive puzzle mechanics later in the game.
Anyway, it's still very, very fun. It creates a pretty convincing atmosphere, the graphics are of course impressive, voice acting is top notch, characters are pretty believable, environments are good, and combat is fair. I'd certainly buy it again, it's just not this perfect game people talk it up to be. I think that making a game out to be perfect causes issues when developers try to make sequels. The rabid fans are never pleased.
Never tried the online component.

Yeah, The Last of Us is a solid 9.5/10 for me. It's taken a few big steps forward in terms of story-telling and character development in video games. It's definitely not perfect. Though saying that, the issues I had with it were reasonably minor. I can't wait to play it again when I pick up a PS4 copy at some point. The DLC is excellent as well.

I just traded in my 3DS for the New 3DS and bought Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. So I'll probably be playing through those until FF Type-0 comes out with the FFXV demo.

So far, it's actually a pretty hefty disappointment, due to a single primary design choice: The restriction to just the character viewpoints.
It's a core part of the game. It leads to a permanent Fog of War state, which is pretty awesome. But it means that any time you go to any map, there's a huge amount of trial and error with orienting yourself and having any clue even where to go. Combine this with the number of Overwatch enemies who will punish you for exploration, and the fact that every level introduces new enemies that take even more trial and error to figure out how they work, and it makes each new level a stumbling block.
Replaying levels is great, and the story part of the campaign is good. But learning new levels is so frustrating that I just found myself starting up a fight and quitting almost immediately because I didn't want to take the time and effort. So I can't say that I recommend the game.

A super fun little chapter-based indie point-and-click! Based around a burglary of a precious Egyptian artifact in the 1960's, it has, as Levian put it, an incredible Agatha Christie vibe, especially with the first part of gameplay on the Orient Express!
It's noticeably a little low-budget at times, but the story seems pretty solid and the cut scenes are just beautiful. Gameplay graphics are a little hokey at times but it's something I'm willing to look past, especially with a low-budget studio.
I don't even know how or when this game made it into my library, but it must have been on sale at one point for $5 or so (because I am cheap as trout and don't buy games for more than that), because I just found it in there out of nowhere. It obviously has its differences from Telltale Games, but I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys point-and-clicks. Reminds me of the old Sierra games from the past few decades!

After dying, just let the screen sit without pressing any buttons. After a few minutes, the words "Snake is Dead" will slowly turn into "Time Paradox". It was always the little things with MGS3. Wish I could go back and experience it again for the first time. Have fun.

I've been playing The Witch and the Hundred Knight. This is a fun game. But, very, very dark. Metallia, the titular witch, is a horrible person. She's been lightening up a little, just in time for characters to come into play that are way worse than she ever was. And there's this thing where the game will randomly crash to the XMB. And it really is random, it crashes for no rhyme or reason and I'm already a paranoid saver so this just makes it worst. Luckily though, so far checkpoints are about 15-20 minutes apart.

I beat Child of Light for the first time a few days ago. It's a fantastic game; it's been a while since a turn-based RPG kept me on my toes, and the game itself is gorgeous. If you have Xbox Live Gold, it's free to download for the XB1 until the end of the month even if you don't have the console itself. If you do, there's no good reason not to give it a try at the bare minimum.

It's the only game recently which I've been compelled to play. It has received mostly negative reviews and I can understand why. The gameplay is repetitive with little imagination. The story is non-existent. Also, the repetitive strain is on-par if not worse than Mario Party for the N64.

It's the only game recently which I've been compelled to play. It has received mostly negative reviews and I can understand why. The gameplay is repetitive with little imagination. The story is non-existent. Also, the repetitive strain is on-par if not worse than Mario Party for the N64.

Right now I'm replaying the original BioShock which I will follow up with BioShock 2 and Infinite.
Playing these old PS3/360 games on a modern PC is awesome. It's like playing an HD remaster. :p

The PSN version on my Vita. It's much more aesthetically pleasing (not to mention easier!) than the original. I'm not sure MissH could cope with some of the NES era graphics and mechanics.

And if you don't have a dead battery so the game actually saves...

Speaking of which, got back into Path of Exile with the girl last night. It has that mid-game lull I found in other clickey ARPGs but still fun.

Yeah, that's the one. It's a really slick version of it and plays great. You can still tell it's pretty basic compared with the following entries but really enjoying it!

On Chapter 3 or 4 of Hotline Miami and oh my is the challenge a breath of fresh air. It has been ages since I've played a game that repeatedly sends me into strings of curses (Catherine might have been the last to do so) and I love it. The music is fantastic, as well. Not to mention the weird Lynchian vibe.

I started playing the Last of Us but I'm not too sure what I think of it so far. The gameplay mechanics aren't very consistent (sometimes you can sprint, sometimes you can't, sometimes you have mad weapon sway, sometimes like you don't like in the upside down sequence). And I don't like that. I also find the stealth mechanics a bit wonky at times.
Also playing Dota 2 which just had an amazing patch to balance out some issues.
And of course Dark Souls. I'm always playing Dark Souls if I can.

Hearing all this news about Castlevania and seeing Game Grumps and Two Best Friends doing Let's Plays made me want to play a Castlevania. I went back to the first one I ever played, Circle of the Moon. I played way back in High School, but I never beat it. I remember thinking it was too hard, I don't even think I made it to the final boss. But that's going to change, I'm going to beat it this time.

So what do you get when you cross Neptunia with Senran Kagura? Probably something NSFW. But you also get Hyperdimension Neptunia U. It's really fun and the combat is fast paced, but there's not aerial rave and I keep hitting the dash button like there is.
I'm going to be starting up a game of Left 4 Dead real soon.

World of Warcraft. I'm surprised to still be playing it several months after resubbing, but they've made it so easy for me to get to and enjoy whatever content I feel like doing at a given time, they've taken almost all of the 'chore' out of it. Not what everyone wants from an MMO, and not the only type of MMO I want to play, but definitely great in this instance.
Morrowind. Replaying yet again, going for some different mods this time, intending to end up siding with Great House Dagoth (For The Sixth House is risen, and Dagoth is its glory.)
XCOM: Enemy Within (With Long War mod). Getting hardcore up in here, and I never spent enough time with EW.
NBA 2K15. Dat career mode doe. Taylor Swift is rapidly making a name as one of the best undrafted rookies the NBA was ever foolish enough to overlook in the draft.
Kerbal Space Program. Oh yes. OH YES. As I write this my Fox II atmospheric airplane is en-route to a scanning site on Kerbin, gathering funding and science so we can get to our first orbital spacecraft. And from there, the universe!

Neptunia Re;birth2. Ram and Uni need to stop being Ram and Uni and join my party already. Rom can come too. At least on the bright side, only have one CPU on the team really shows the difference between them and normal people. Nepgear's just shrugging off attacks while dishing out more damage than the others. Boss fights have boiled down to Red and IF keeping Purple Sister buffed and Compa healing.

I didn't think that game was too tricky?? Maybe I need to revisit it to see if my skills are up to scratch :p
Might just be hard for me because it's my first time playing.
.....You can super charge the magic spell. I was having a hard time with a miniboss on the third stage because I was basically hitting him with a peashooter the whole time. How I find out? Left my finger lingering on the button.
This was how we discovered things back in the old days, folks.

Just finished The Witcher 3, gonna move back to PS4 so probably lots of Destiny, Drive Club and Advanced Warfare tonight.
Continuing FFX on Vita during commute, will likely pick up either Axiom Verge (2015 indie Metroid-like) or Shovel Knight to complement it.
Currently I'm playing the Witcher 3; Final Fantasy VII; Pokemon Omega Ruby, and Last of Us multiplayer.
Once I'm done with the Witcher I plan to play Batman Arkham Knight.

Some people don't like the Pre-Sequel as much, and although it's not as funny as 2, it's still pretty fun I found. :3

I'll be starting A Link to the Past soon. I was never that fond of the game as I think it's tedious and full of cheap difficulty. Hopefully, I'll think differently this time because this is the only Zelda game I don't like (I've played them all) and I can't have that!

Tough game, man. I once managed to get all the way to the penultimate boss (that flying dragon that bounces off the wall) without losing a life. That was on normal difficulty though.
There re have been a couple of times too when me and a friend completed it (just barely) on the hardest difficulty. A proud moment.

I'm glad that the core set is associated with the plot of the latest edition (compared to the previous ones) and these cards can be played in Standard right out of the box - FINALLY! :D
