Yesterday I tried a new workout since I've started eating better and exercising. I was a bit disappointed, because I could physically only get through half of it; I seriously overestimated my abilities and how ready for it I was. I ended up not feeling like I got a very good workout.

This morning my thighs are hurting so bad I can hardly sit down on the toilet. Sure, they're painful, but they're GOOD painful.

A disappointing workout is better than no workout. Always.

Had a pretty straightforward day. I had to go to work tonight, but it got cancelled. Sounds great, right? Well, the extra money would have been nice, and it would have been nicer if someone called me instead of wasting my time! So it kind of looked like my night would end on a down note.

But then my parent's perked me up (had to run over there to drop off something), and a buddy of mine can come over to my place after all! Granted, he really needs someone to talk to, but it will still be nice to help a bro out and do something besides work for a change (been working overtime non stop minus holidays since October).

He's much more minimalist than I am, but his apartment is pretty filthy! I went to clean the stove and there are no cleaning supplies, so I'll have to get some tomorrow, ugh. Anyway, I was giving him shit about the state of his apartment, and he just sat down at his keyboard (sorry, it's a "digital piano and there's a fucking difference") and started playing music from various Final Fantasy games! Yeah, I didn't want to come across a weirdo. Also, while I wasn't drunk (was stone cold sober before the game ended), I was drinking, and I figured that most would write me off as just being overly emotional because of drinking, which they would have every right to do since in the past I used to be crazy with drinking. However, something I heard about today has made me reconsider that sort of thing.

As for today? Went to the folk's house yet again. I was forced to this time because my building shut off the water thanks to sudden maintenance, but dad came home early from work and we talked lots of football and Superbowl stuff. Sound boring to most, but I had fun doing it, and I'm not even bothered that I have to go into work early today! In fact, that makes me happy by itself because I'll gain back some of the money I lost on that cancelled overtime day!

I tracked this drum part today, and had 2 rehearsals of my own original songs, one w the drummer, and one later with the bass player and lead player.

It all came off absolutely without a hitch. Today rocked my face.

Had another wonderful day with my girlfriend. We went to one of those EVERYTHING IS CHEAP stores because she wanted some throwaway headphones, and I found all sort of cool video game candy containers that I purchased. Also a cool little R2D2 one. Those of you who follow me on instagram will see them in a few hours or tomorrow, depending on when I can take them. I know a great many people care about this sort of thing!!!

Also, I think I only told one person this so far, but I've been making a point to make a post in this thread everyday. If I miss a day I note something positive the previous day, as well. This is because I had too many points last year where I was negative/faced negative situations and felt terrible about myself in the aftermath. This is a way to prove to myself that life is good, and something good happens to me every day. Even if it is a simple update like my last couple. There are other things in my life I need to improve, but it all starts with a healthy mental game, so that's what I am tackling first!

Went to my folk's house to visit and I ended up reading this cool Terminator comic series that wraps up the whole story using only bits and pieces from all movies. It actually worked well and it was an enjoyable read. Then we all watched Cowboys and Aliens. Yeah, the movie is pretty mediocre, but those types of movies are fun to watch with my folks. Now I am about to play me some Chrono Trigger because the mood to play it happened to strike me!

We had a really busy day today that culminated in a trip to the park for about an hour. After we came home and had supper, Lilly sat on my lap and, unprodded, just recounted to me the best parts of our day. Which was "you push me high on the swing."

I could've cried because everyday I ask about her day, just trying to build good social skills and vocabulary, and this just means it's really sticking.

On the other hand it means she's growing up which is not permitted.

I had a great day of lectures. Every Monday is pretty rough, I have a 9:00-18:00 day, so it's a pretty long day of just learning heavy materials, but I had great fun. My class are quite lively and we all get along, it was great spending time with them.

Had a good rest last night. Also, played me some Chrono Trigger, which always makes me happy!

Also, people I follow online made a respectful nod towards another online dude I follow. Long story short, it has been theorized that two hosts of a Let's Play channel (Game Grumps) had a falling out when one of them left to do his own thing (this was back in 2013). Recently, it seems they have patched things up. Personally, I felt the split actually worked out for all parties involved since the show continued on successfully with the then new co-host and how the one who left ended up making even more killer videos on his own channel.

Basically, I rolled with what happened with the supposed falling out (other fans seriously obsessed over it to a very unhealthy degree). However, I admit that there was a very weird tension felt that kind of put a whole damper on things. So, it is nice to see that whatever happened has passed, and people are all cool with each other. The tension was deflating rapidly, but now it seemed to all but disappeared, and this will hopefully quiet the more...enthusiastic fans (that honestly make me hesitant to talk about stuff like this because I don't want to be associated with how crazy they can be).

I guess the best analogy on why this makes me happy is it reminds me when a band you care about smooths things over with each other. It doesn't affect your life one way or the other, but it is cool to see that content creators you enjoy can get along once again.

I had a great Valentine's Day! We went to this lovely little Indian restaurant, the food was good, the atmosphere was great. Then we walked over to the comic book shop to browse and stopped by a little used goods store and found two really nice paintings! Then we browsed around the mall and went to a few places and I got some smell good perfume and baths and I still smell good from yesterday and this makes me happy. they were having a buy 3 get 3 free special so I'm stocked up for a while!

Of course we also had chocolates and I had yummy dinners. I'm still a bit sick so the afternoon of fun was about as much as I could handle, so we just vegged out and watched some TV last night. Very awesome and fun day!

Some rescued battery chickens have been taken to a little chicken sanctuary that just opened up near us. I got a message on Facebook saying I can go pick one up on Monday. Got a new (to me) truck today!

2006 Chevy Silverado regular cab. I'm excited, it's the first time I haven't had to have a co-signer. I really wanted a Ford but, they're just way out of my monthly budget. The Ford I was looking at was $7000 more for 1 year newer O_o And, I get to keep my little Carolla! They didn't deem it valuable enough to bother trading it in lol. I may keep it as a second car for long trips or just sell it cheap to someone this summer. It'd make a great first car for someone.

Played the Anju and Kafei sidequest in Majora's Mask today. Now, I have seen it before plenty of times, and I already felt the "feels" as kids today would say. However, it particularly hit me hard today. But wait, isn't this the happy thread? Well, I think it hit me harder this time because it's been years since I have played that part of MM last. I think because I have a greater understanding of love, the situation/circumstance hit me harder than usual. So while I felt a negative emotion it was at least about something fictional and I do believe the way I reacted signifies a more mature viewpoint I have on something.

It's patch day! 6.1 is out. I'm so happy because I'm getting a bunch of increases. On some of my AoE bleeds i'm getting 30% increase. They laughed at me running around as a feral kitty but not after today! After today I will top the damage meters. You will rue the day you said it was a bad idea to play feral in endgame. My 653 ilvl only produced on average 15k, burst 40k, not after today. After today I will be sitting at an average of 20-25k with bursts probably at 65k if not more. Muhahaha

Had a relaxing day at home. Accomplished a lot in Majora's Mask, including that pesky Great Bay Temple. Before that I tinkered in Animal crossing for a bit, too! And once again, I caught up on sleep that I really needed. Basically, today I was a cat who plays video games.

It was a bit overwhelming, but I made a few connections and got to see some of my former co-workers from different freelance gigs I had. I can't believe it's already been 2 years... Living in Texas and everything before that seem like a lifetime ago.

I know I joke about being with him cuz he takes care of me financially, but he really is my best friend. I almost never get tired of hanging out with him. And for the first time like ever, I feel completely 100% safe (in more ways than 1).

And at this point, we both know we're not very likely to find anyone else who'd be willing to put up with us if we were to break up :D ... So we're stuck together.

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was released out of nowhere today. It is actually a very different game, and I enjoyed it for the small amount of time I played it. While the video I put out has an error in it that makes the gameplay choppy at the end, I am proud of myself for being able to get a video out there so quickly this time, and that I'm playing it mostly blind (I saw a teaser trailer and an actual YouTuber play it, but luckily they didn't give me major hints on how to combat the game's engine). Apparently, according to my girlfriend, I figured out something that no other YouTuber has figured out yet on top of it all!

The kids in my class are amazing (well,a few of them are). They're so sweet and keep making things for the baby. One little girl stuck 2 Yakult bottles together and decorated it and said she had made a mini Xmas tree for the baby. Others have made cards and pictures. They come up to me and rub&kiss my tummy. It's the sweetest thing. If other kids are screaming or being little buggars, a nice child will pipe up and say "shhh, you'll give the baby a headache!". It's really sweet.

We find out what we're having on saturday morning. I'm really excited. I can't wait to start spoiling my little prince or princess.

I woke up hungover today, and I was going to partake in my usual laying in bed watching Netflix and ordering pizza to cure it, but since today was the nicest day of the year so far I decided to go out.

I just found out that the membership card I have with my local grocery chain (oklahoma only, sorry) allows you to just load coupons onto the card online. So I don't have to go in with a stack of coupons. I can just load it on my card and when I go in it will automatically apply them when I buy the items. PLUS they double coupons if you have the card. I'm super excited because food and stuff is expensive and now I can get stuff off when I make quick runs to the store. I normally would have to plan if I wanted to use coupons, which I'm bad about remembering them. Now I can just load them onto the card!

Finally got a new wallet.. It's just a Fossil, but it's a really pretty bright tangerine color with a grey inside that allllmost matches my bag perfectly. And I got Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume and some clothes and makeup at Target.

Still need to go to Old Navy. I'm kind of hoping my bf's parents decide they want to stay in today. My phone is getting replaced so I don't have one atm and our tablet isn't on our phone plan so navigating the city will be a major PITA for me. Good: I am feeling so physically bad that I decided to take off tonight. Well, back to work tonight and catching up will not be fun. However, I am going to get some good pizza from a local joint in a bit and some leftovers to have for my lunch later!

I've noticed that people have been noticeably kind lately. Strangers, people I don't know. They're receptive or even willing to initiate polite social interactions. I always feel like the awkward nerd who chatters troutty small talk to other people while I'm in line checking out or whatever because silences make me uncomfortable and I panic. I notice that people smile at me a lot lately. I don't know if it's because I'm already smiling and I look approachable to exchange smiles with or if these people are just smilers themselves or maybe everyone here is just so incredibly polite and happy and they just all brighten each other's day by smiling at each other.

Either way, it's really nice; it's a nice difference to notice, and it makes me feel less awkward and anxious in public somehow. Maybe everyone here is just high and doesn't realize that they're smiling like lunatics and I'm Dorothy with no idea what's going on.

Despite how much I stressed about missing a couple of days of work (despite how good for me mentality it was), I was able to bounce back in the swing of things. Got a couple of pats on the back and everyone was understanding. Now, not to say everyone at my workplace is unsympathetic or jerks at all times, but it was still a very refreshing attitude to come back to. I think it is because after running on all cylinders for over half a year, we are now just coming down to a normal pace, so people are not on edge as they have been in recent times, but I'll still take it!

Took the day off from work because flu and watched Game of Thrones, Brave, Big Hero 6, and browsed the forum most of the day.

Why can't this be every day? :G

I'm so excited. It's not anything outstandingly amazing, but for what we paid- it's a great deal.
