##guess2The cursed shield transforms after 256 battles when equipped on someone who earns magic AP. Gogo and Umaro cannot, apparently. The paladin shield absorbs fire, ice, lightning and holy damage. It teaches Ultima at a rate of 1% per magic AP, apparently.
