In Final Fantasy VI, Gogo was a member of the party who was a Mimic. Back then, he imitated. Now he makes "dolls that look like real people", another form of imitation.

When you exchange the Magical Fingertip (supposedly Gogo's) for the Excalibur, he says about the item: "Look at these fingers. They look worn-down, as if they never got a break."

We do not know whether Gogo Godfingers still lives or not.

Considering his fingers or hand, or whatever the Magical Fingertip is, is an item you can achieve, he is likely not to be able to feel them anymore.
