Religion shows religion to be corrupt, inept, lying and oppressive.

That made me think: is it just me, or are the religious lot usually the bad guys?
I'd rather call them fanatics than religious

Well I am Indian and we beleive the circle of like connects all things, and we all return back into the circle once we pass, so I guess you could call that the life stream.

I always figured the circle of life to be one's death resulting in the fertility of a plant, that a certain animal will eat. Then, something will either eat that animal, or that animal will die, and their corpse will act as fertility to a plant, that a certain animal will eat. Same.

Reincarnation is more or less, something that is "you" (soul or w/e you want to call it) is reborn as another being after you pass away. In most religious context, it is stuck in the perpetual cycle of death and rebirth and the goal is often the cessation of rebirths.

Coincidentally, I got Nirvana for Yuna earlier today.

The Behemoth, Coeurl, and Tiamat were taken from the Bible I believe.

When designing a game, you can either A. Make up all of the names yourself, creating names like "Lucario", and "Ike" or name your monsters crap like "One Eye".

Or, you can do yourself a favor and have names taken from real life myths such as Cyclops and Gaia.

That doesn't mean your game is based off Greek, Biblical, etc. stories.
