I would like to note the differences between this tournament and last one I had hosted back in 2004. At this point in the last one, the Elite Eight consisted of the following.

Kasumi (Dead or Alive)
Seung Mina (Soul Calibur)
Jam (Guilty Gear X)
Jill Valentine (Resident Evil)
Mai Shiranui (Fatal Fury)
May (Guilty Gear X)
Aeris (Final Fantasy VII)
Samus Aran (Metroid)

FYI, that consisted of one Final Fantasy character (Aeris, or Aerith *ahem AK*), and five fighting babes compared to four Final Fantasy characters and zero fighting babes this time around. I wonder what happened?

Of course, I am happy that the results this time around reflects better for a Final Fantasy based forum like EoFF.
