It's probably best to have either Open AND Combo, or neither.
Aye. I'm very happy about there being another Tournament, and these things should definitely be a quarterly event, but tournament level matches should never be Open. Well, no. Low level tournaments should be open, so as to not turn off the new players, but higher level matches should be Closed.
I am loving this, though. And there's no doubt that Open, plus the lack of Combo, is the reason our match has gone on so long haha.
EDIT: Hmm. Good point, Rantz. We could have tiers. Beginners tier: Open, no Combo. Intermediate tier: Open, Combo. Advanced tier: Closed, Combo. What do you think?

kotora finally accepted my request for the Fire tournament. And justgoing by the cards we both play, I do see a slight possibility of our match ending up getting some sudden deaths as well. It all depends though, so we'll see how it goes.

Just to clarify, the two semi-final spots will go to two from Ultima Shadow, Rantz, Quin and Jiro, and this match will decide who they go to... depending on the score, although I assume it will be 6-4...!
Though I am highly tempted to call it a tie and eliminate both of them.
