Square Enix has just released Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the iPad system, giving the world another opportunity to buy this fantastic game.

Picking up a copy of Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for the iPad will set you back $18.00/11.50/13.50, a small price to pay for those of you who don't have a PSP.

Final Fantasy Tactics was originally released on the PSX in NTSC regions, which means many of us may have missed out on a chance to play. With the release of The War of the Lions port on PSP in 2007, fans of Final Fantasy in PAL regions were finally been able to enjoy this masterpiece. Now, the iPad version gives gamers even more options when it comes to purchasing this classic.

Final Fantasy Tactics was also Square's first foray into the world of Ivalice, a location which is now the setting for a multitude of games - including Final Fantasy XII and Vagrant Story - in what is known as the "Ivalice Alliance".

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is now available on iPad.

Someday, when there are no good games coming out and I've finished the main numbered FF games, I'll get this for the PSP. So, maybe in a year. =x
