This first image shoes Lightning in a pretty swank store (hopefully she has enough Gil for this establishment) the only 'shop' in Final Fantasy XIII-2 was the fabulous Chocolina! A traveling merchant, so it's nice to have some 'proper' shops for this game! There's something about them I just love...
This next image shows a shop menu and some of the items on display, personally I'd love to try that Gysahl Salad, I bet it's packed with goodness. Not quite sure what the Fond de Behemoth is.... I'm actually very fond of Behemoths and I don't want to eat them, even if they do give me 100% recovery.
At first glance at this picture, I thought the innkeeper looked a bit like a grown up Vaan (and a better dressed one...) but I think that's probably just me. Anyway, like the shops, Inns play a pretty big part in Final Fantasy - it's a place to go and rest and heal up your party and quite often there are some awesome scenes, like those in Final Fantasy IX and the scene with Julia and Laguna in Final Fantasy VIII (although it's technically not an 'inn' it's sort of the same, right?)
The next set of images all appear to be concept art of different landmarks in Luxerion.
Here's a clock tower/monument.
Considering that the bulk of the game's plot is about time,
I wonder if this could be a significant landmark?
A residential building.
This reminds me a lot of the very gritty/grey style of
Midgar in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
A station timetable!
One to The Dead Dunes Please!
Haulage car
I wonder why it's pictured upside down
A sword and shield, possibly one that you can buy at the pictured shop.
It's pretty neat, bright red and lethal looking, with a finish like crocodile skin and obsidian texture.
I'm thinking this weapon is very, very dangerous.
