It's "Top Bants", we only said "Top Pants" this episode because Jinx apparently misheard us (or mistyped when she commented earlier).

Bants is short for banter, which is essentially just playful chat. Saying "top bants" is us saying that we have thoroughly enjoyed the banter that has gone on, and it is top tier entertainment. It is a horrible saying and it makes you sound like a prat.

Which is why Matt keeps saying it. :3

Lets play FFX HD Epsiode 37 – Under the Lake Ice

Hey, Hey. There's a battle in this episode and we fall through the ice into the Macalania Lake. We don't get covered in water though. We get soaked in DRAMA!!

The flashback scene is weird. The dialogue is presented in a way that implies Tidus and Auron are viewing Tidus' flashback together.
The setup of 'Lake' Macalania has always bothered me too, Shauna.

Imagine how much more efficiently you would play this game Jinx. Actually knowing how to do battles and stuff.

Yeah, I actually think that Tidus and Rikku made a lot more sense together. I guess you can use the whole "Opposites Attract" thing about Tidus and Yuna, but over the course of the game Tidus and Rikku grow close and develop an actual relationship. I never understood the attraction in either direction for Tidus and Yuna, especially given that she's already craving the T by the time they get to Kilika, and in love with him by the time they're in Guadosalam.

I agree w/ Psycho, that under the lake thing doesn't make a lick of sense. "Kimahri roars and Auron runs"? Does she even know these people?

Wakka is such a pill @ this point. I think he needs a swig from Auron's jug. #NoInnuendo

Lets play FFX HD Epsiode 39 - All About Random Battles

Mmmyes I know. I have not idea why these random animals are carrying 705gil and Magical Power Sphere. It will forever be a mystery.

It's almost depressing how Rikku and her items completely outclass any other sort of status ailment infliction.

Dark Attack has a 50% chance to inflict Darkness for 3 turns on one enemy.
Dark Buster has an infinite chance to do Darkness for 1 turn on one enemy.
Smoke Bombs have an infinite chance to do Darkness for 3 turns on ALL enemies.

Kinda puts things in perspective, doesn't it?

Same goes for Sleep/Dream Powder and Silence Grenades, of course. Plus Frag Grenades inflict Armor Break without fail. And Poison Fangs do Poison and some nice damage on top of that.

I always use one of my Teleport Spheres to customize Evade & Counter onto a capture weapon. Such an awesome auto-ability.

I will use one to move Tidus to Auron's Route when he finsihes. I think I can get a Level 3 Key Sphere from Chocobo Minigames in the Calm Lands so I can open the gate to White Magic for Rikku. Not sure who main character number 3 will be. Probably Wakka because they are the only ones that can underwater.

I cry more than one tear when Kimahri rocks up, Shauna. Also I liked the Al Bhed Rosetta Stone translation, Overdrive Guy.

Wakka hitting himself with the ball is the best animation.
