I always thought that accent was South African. Been a while since I played it though.

Nah, Oerba is definitely Australia

I had another listen and I don't know where I heard South African during my first playthrough. But her accent is terrible and I wasn't surprised to see that the VA isn't an Australian.

Yes! I remember the first time I found out that Fang (and Vanille?) accents were supposed to be Australian I thought that is an Australian accent? Wut? They should just let me do the voice acting, I'll show them how a real bogan accent sounds like xD

Um, Georgia - Vanille's VA - is definitely from Australia.

Also I have to get in touch with my old Aussie friends to learn if Australia became a giant commune while I wasn't looking. Oerba was a commune.

Vanille's is more Aussie sounding but it sounds suuuuper hammed up. Either that or she's from far north Queensland.

Yeah, her voice reminds me of the women on morning shows that appear in adverts that try to sell you health things like the abswing pro, nutribullet, ahh bra, jenny craig membership program....etc

My 'accent' is so weird, Aussies think it sounds exotic and everyone else thinks its Australian, so I dunno if I'd be a good example or not xD However, I am.great at imitating bogan/derro Australians (the rednecks) but it may end up sounding offensive...
