We all loved to fish in Final Fantasy XV right? Right? I mean, you didn't delay your playthrough several hours for any other reason right? No? Just me?
Apparently it is not just me! Square Enix announced at the Sony E3 Press Conference that a VR experience unlike any other will be coming September 2018. That's right folks, you all wanted it! (Even if you're not admitting it) We are getting a first person fishing game for Final Fantasy XV!
As much as I enjoyed fishing in FFXV... no thank you. I just want Tabata and Squenix to quietly release the rest of the story DLC for this game and then leave it alone.
If I had a VR I would probably get it (I liked the fishing), but I have zero plans to jump into the VR... trend? Has it even reached trend status or is it just kind of sitting stagnant?
Is this really what Final Fantasy has turned into?
They're treating this series like a joke. Really sad to see.

A lot of ridiculous crap was announced this year, and this is one of the major ones. But I have no real problem with it. Especially if it's on the cheap, which it really should be, but we'll see
One thing it tells me is they're willing to take stupid gambles again now. I'm sure there are far better and more deserving projects to gamble on, but it's something at least
It's so weird to see stuff like this, World War shooters returning, platformers returning, strategy games returning, horror games returning. This generation is some weird renaissance that didn't have to actually have to happen if big publishers would listen to the public and fans rather than pseudo-journalists and focus groups
