Praise the heavens! Gamers.com is reporting that a source extremely close to Square admits that Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy IV are being released for PSX. Although there's no official word from Square, the Japanese release of CT and FF4 for PSX included beautiful new FMV as well as the usual extras that you expect from Square. No word on when to expect two beauties yet. Thanks for emailing Square!

It looks like Square has pushed its upcoming Final Fantasy title into a July 2001 release for Japan. Sadly, this also means a delay in the US release date. Final Fantasy IX was released in July 2000 in Japan and hit US shores in November 2000. Expect Final Fantasy X to do the same this year.
