It's time everyone! This time on FFXHD, we take on the ultimate evil. It's time to take down Sin and save the world of Spira from its endless despair! That monster won't know what hit him.
Welcome to Episode 2 of our Podcast! We're glad to be back on the air, discussing only the most important of topics! Make sure you subscribe to our Mixcloud page so you don't miss a single minute.
I've recently played through DONTNOD and Square Enix's newly published interactive novel Life is Strange, and I thought I'd record it for the site!
I decided to go for commentary-less, as it is a heavily cutscene driven game, and I didn't want to blabber over the top of it too much. Obviously, spoiler warnings ahead! I also went ahead and tried to look at everything, as I heard that there were some cool Easter Eggs. Which ones do you see?
Hope you enjoy!
Meet Max, a weird socially awkward kid with a passion for photography. Back in her childhood home of Arcadia Bay, she wakes from a nightmare to find that she suddenly has the ability to rewind time. What kind of crazy hijinks will she get up to?
This is part one of Episode 1 - Chrysalis, covering the first 20 minutes or so this interactive story from DONTNOD and Square Enix.

It's Aeon time! Well, of course, we first take more revenge on that damn monster. And one more time for good luck, too. After that, we're home free for getting all this optional stuff.
The names of the aeons are all terrible, just so we're clear.

Back to the airship with us, to discuss the plans that our team have come up with. Or... not. Still got nothing? This doesn't bode well for Spira. At least Yuna got to meet her estranged uncle...?
To give the party a bit more time for their plan making, The Shaunas spend today's episode doing some treasure hunting while hearing things.

Take that you stupid dragon thing, you ain't so tough!
Auron is sad because he's just as dumb as Tidus and Rikku, Yunalesca is cold because she's even less appropriately clothed than Lulu and Yuna... Yuna learns the truth about what her pilgrimage really means.
...
Our heroes take a trip down memory lane, while they take a trip through the blitzball stadium in the ruins of Zanarkand.
In the mean time, we continue to ask the really important questions. What do the unsent eat? How badly did Wakka and Lulu fail at their previous pilgrimages? Is Seymour sexy? Wait wait, Matt, you really crossed a line there.
...
We complete our march/swim through the trials Mt Gagazet have to offer. Try to ignore Matt's chatting about MP Stroll, again. Time to heal up! Wait, nevermind. We're too pro to heal up. Our team is the best!
Seymour's back and ready to kick some zombie butt! The Shaunas take on what is considered one of the toughest story boss battles. How do they do? Finally get that KO you've all been waiting for? Also Tidus and Rikku are still dumb, and we continue to have little patience for Kimahri. Despite... well... watch and see.
...
As a celebration of a massive 50 episodes, we decided to shake things up. That's right - instead of Matt being useless, it's Shauna's turn to be useless.
Despite all this though, Matt still manages to make a mess of things in various ways.
...
And we have a little bit of an explore around the area - happening upon the chocobo rider going to Bevelle, the Monster Arena where we don't do anything, the chocobo rider going to Bevelle, a massive terrifying malboro which took us by surprise, and the chocobo rider going to Bevelle.
...
Matt ruins everything. Then Tidus ruins everything. Then the laptop ruins everything.
Enjoy our 40th episode in which I don't think anything could have went any worse for anyone involved. Well, we could have KO'd or something, I suppose.
Is it getting hot in here, or is it just Lulu? Our heroes have ended up in the heart of what appears to be an endless desert. What horrible fate lies ahead of them as they wander aimlessly through the dunes? Whatever happens, it looks like Wakka does not approve.
