Famitsu has recently had an interview with Tetsuya Nomura about the immediate future of Final Fantasy games. Among the details are clarifications on what exactly Nomura has been doing for the last chunk of time, and other goodies, such as the announcement of a video for E3. And if you scroll down a little bit, one might notice the announcement for FFXI on the PS3.
On a related note, FFXIII Versus is coming along swimmingly.
...Square Enix has completed the purchase of game developer Eidos, a process which was started back in February. The speedy resolution of the purchase of a company past its fiscal prime may either be a very wise or rather foolish procedure. Only time and good wishes will be able to tell. If one has heard of Tomb Raider, one has heard of Eidos.

...Today marked the Japanese release of the Compilation of FFVII's most recent entry, Advent Children Complete. While this marks yet another glorious moment for the FFVII fandom, it comes with a special, bundled goodness in the form of a FFXIII demo (PS3), weighing in at 5.09 GB. That's a lot. Like, seriously, that's something on the order of nine zeroes worth of information.

...And the word is gold. Square Enix has recently updated the site with the presence of three new characters, Gadot, Maqui, and Lebreau. Each one is listed under the "Nora" header on the main site; chances are, they are members of the resistance.
Source: RPGFan; new title is new at the official site. Why, we could even start a discussion about it. Aren't we just the happy-go-lucky people today?
...It's March, which means that in about sixteen days, we get to drink, drink, drink, but until then, no booze until we get our dose of gaming. In the meantime, we'll be entertaining ourselves with EoFF's very own "Eyes on Plays: The Legend of Zelda." Rejoice? Give the pretty lady a kiss? Yes to both, please.
Additionally, once Eyes on Plays FFVI officially wraps up and all matters are put into order, Eyes on Plays FFVII will begin. Overhyped, underfed, and totally in three dimensions, EoFF swears that we wished that we had seen the connection earlier. The Jonas Brothers made FFVII. So that means if you're a teenage girl (or, God forbid, a dude), you MUST play Final Fantasy VII. In fact, why don't you visit the section just to refresh your memory?
At the very least get a better taste in music.
Update: The drinks were consumed, the plants were destroyed, and the hors d'oeuvres dismantled. I'm not trying to sound so insincere, but the postcard that's taped to the freezer reads "wish ...
Okay, the world of news has been slow recently, because we're all busy getting ready for Valentine's Day ( ...right). So, we've decided that love is best generated with new, shiny presents the sizes of a large rock. Not just a pebble, a rock.
Most importantly, is the opening of our FFXIII section. So far, it contains whatever scraps of information have been put out by SE in the recent months, but we'll keep running with it when we can.
We aren't only concerned with the new and shiny. Sometimes, an old friend just needs a little lovin' and he'll be as good as new. In particular, FF Tactics Advance has gotten the Botox treatment with not less than six new sections worth of information. As far as one could know, they haven't been there since sometime mid-January. Unless I told you. Which I did. All of the sections are the results of various (and generous) contributions, work, and effort, and parts of that person's soul.
Additionally, several new ...
