Final Fantasy Agito has been announced at Sqaure Enix's de:code event to be released on Windows 10. Originally, Final Fantasy Agito was only available on Japanese smartphones and recently hit 1 million downloads through them. Windows 10 is set to release in July and will allow every user with windows 7 and 8 to upgrade to 10 for free for the first year. This will give even more users the ability to have access to a Final Fantasy game.

Everyone loves remastered games, right? What about a game that's a browser game? Square Enix has said that Kingdom Hearts III wont come out until after Final Fantasy XV is released. That leaves us a little dry on new Kingdom Hearts games. Thanks to Japanese magazine Famitsu, that drought is over! Okay, maybe it's a small rain cloud. Kingdom Hearts: Unchained Chi was announced to be released later this year in Japan.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years is getting a 3D port to the PC through steam tomorrow, May 12th 2015. This 3D version of The After Years was originally on iOS but is now coming to PC in all it's 3D glory for $15.99.

Director Naoki Yoshida of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn had a birthday earlier this past month. Instead of eating cake and throwing confetti with his friends and family, he's been hard at work making the soon to come expansion Heavensward absolutely perfect.
Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward will be introducing flying mounts to this ever expanding MMO. Expected are traditional flying type mounts but even more exciting is that of the overweight, cake loving, Chocobo variety. In a "leaked" screenshot he provided, we get to see our favorite fat Chocobo trying his darndest to fly, of course with the help of dangling cake.

Japanese gaming site, Nishibun has reported that former Square Executive Vice President, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the man who was responsible for bringing to the world such great video game series as Final Fantasy and Chrono, is about to return to the company. No official title has been given, but it’s rumored that he will return to produce three more games before he officially retires from the gaming industry.

It was announced today at PAX East that Final Fantasy XIV's new Heavensward expansion is set to release on June 23rd, 2015. Not only is it coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, but Mac users are getting the game, as well. Pre-orders will be available March 16th, and fans who do so will be able to access all the new content four days early.
Heavensward is currently retailed at $39.96. Unfortunately, there is still no news available on how much the previously announced Collector's Edition will cost, so fans who are looking forward to the dragon statue will have to wait just a bit longer.

Square Enix recently announced that the upcoming PlayStation 4 release of Final Fantasy X|X-2 HD Remaster will include bonus items for fans who choose to pre-order. The North American version will release on May 12th and include a desktop calender featuring the artwork of Yoshitaka Amano, while the European version releasing on 15th May will come with a steelbook case also featuring Amano's artwork.
