The first print copies of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix will come with a Sora (R+) card, 20,000 munny, and 4,00 card draw points. If you decide to buy directly from Square Enix themselves than you'll get all those as well as a battle support set featuring a Riku (R+) card, 10 Potions and 10 Ether. Both character cards of Riku and Sora can be used in battles.

The remake of Final Fantasy X in glorious HD has emerged after a year of very little information. These screenshots were shown off at a Vita event in Japan showcasing upcoming titles for the struggling handheld platform.

Famitsu was quick enough to grab a few captures of the very small segment of footage showcasing the new HD character models and Aeons. Unfortunately the images are rather blurry though but it's confirmation at least that progress is being made.

Motomu Toriyama has recently discussed some of the details in regards to the ending of the hotly anticipated Final Fantasy XIII sequel - 'Lightning Returns'.

The game director disclosed that instead of having multiple branch endings like the previous game in the trilogy, the game will have only "one true ending". The reasoning behind this decision perhaps comes from the aim to make this the conclusion to Lightning's story, and to finally close the door.

For fans worrying that the game may be very linear and structured which may affect the replay value, Toriyama commented; "the game is structured so that time is constantly ticking away during gameplay and the world moving and changing with it, meaning that every time you play through you can have a new experience.Ē

How do you think the saga will end? Are you expecting a happy ending for this fan-favourite heroine? Or do you think that Square-Enix might shock us all with some twists and turns? Either way, this story is about to end and anything could happen...

Square Enix just registered a domain name of warfornasgoth.com, which was spotted by Superannunation. If you don't know, Nosgoth is where the Legacy of Kain games take place. Check out the original intro for the 1999 game.

Recently finished with their reboot of the old series Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics has created the majority of the Kain games. Square Enix hasn't officially announced a remake but it wouldn't be too much of a surprise. After acquiring Eidos, Square Enix has been hard at work with the licenses they grabbed with it. Rebooting Tomb Raider was a great step but we might see more of these in the future.

Earlier today Square Enix sent out some rather cryptic mails to members of the press. Jason Schreiner over at Kotaku.com was one such recepient. Titled "What is the hardest case to solve?" the mail included a GIF containing a very strange symbol.

It looks like part of a torn up photograph so it's possible that other members of the press or Square Enix Members have been sent different images. ...

Square Enix has reported a net loss for the nine months ending December 31st.

It blamed the result on what it described as ďthe increasingly difficult condition of the world-wide console game market, under which the Group is struggling to achieve a fair expected return on its investmentĒ.

Some Tomb Raider fans are going to be sorely disappointed to find out that Lara Croft won't be breaking her way onto the Wii U this year.

The Creative Director of Crystal Dynamics; Noah Hughes, has revealed why the game won't be available on Nintendo's latest console: "Iím always a fan of the Nintendo systems, in particular they really push interface design, and from a game design perspective itís fun to play with new interfaces. Having said that itís something that I think we would want to tailor the experience to if we were going to do it."

With the game taking such a different and drastic direction from the previous titles, it comes as no surprise that Crystal Dynamics want to keep the experience as true as possible - which is why they are not developing it for the Wii U. Hughes went on to add: "Something like the Wii U often asks you to do something unique based on a unique interface. Thatís something as a gamer I love but itís something you donít want to do half-heartedly as a developer"

Eyes on Final Fantasy had the opportunity to be invited to a Square Enix event regarding Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. In the first entry of our visit we detailed the demo and the trailer we saw. Not only that but we had the impressions from a skeptic reported on as well. In this entry, we'll be discussing the presentation as well as the exclusive Q&A with Lightning Returns Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Motomu Toriyama.

After showing us the trailer we were greeted with a presentation by Kitase on how they feel about Lightning Returns. A vivid world with rich history full of drama and intrigue, the Nova Crystallis series was made to be a bit different than other Final Fantasy games. Being painted as a strong and powerful female, Lightning is key to every entry. They wanted to showcase this in the newest title, which was part of the reason she was chosen as the only playable character.

Many people are curious with how Lightning Returns works with the creative vision from the players themselves. The vision of how they personally felt the series should go. Player feedback was extremely prevalent in the first two entries, and ...

Eyes on Final Fantasy had a unique opportunity to once again be invited by Square Enix, thanks to community manager Robert Peeler, to preview another entry in the Nova Crystallis saga. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII was shown to us in all its shining glory. We spoke with Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Motuma Toriyama for an in-depth look at this upcoming game.

In the first entry in a few series of articles about our visit, weíll be discussing the trailer and the hands-off demo we witnessed. Combined with Toriyama and Kitaseís commentary, we had a first hand glimpse at the game and its new style.

Although the trailer was leaked early, we saw the full HD version of it with details from Kitase and Toriyama. We found out that the graphics in the video are not polished as you may be able to tell. They were more focused on the gameplay than on the graphics at the moment. Hoping to have the gameplay polished first, they wanted to show the major differences of the game for the fans.

If you thought that Square Enix's Luminous Engine would revolutionize every gaming studio's work, like unreal did, then you're mistaken. US CEO, Mike Fischer told Shack News, "This is an in-house tool. We're not building this around a licensing model." That's right, the beautiful Tech Demo we all saw, Agni's Philosophy, will be exclusive to Square Enix.

Seeing as how SE has recently been branching out with all types of different franchises, such as the recent Hitman: Absolution and the soon to be released Tomb Raider, we will see this engine at work on other titles as well. More and more companies are being merged with Square Enix so it could be a possibility to use this to entice others. Fischer went on to say, "It's my hope that this makes teams and creative people around the world excited to work for us because they'll get their hands on some of the best technology in the industry."

Rumored to be on the Xbox 720 and the PS4, which may be coming out this year, the Luminous engine could make everything drip ...

Square-Enix has just released what the Lodestone is calling the opening movie for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Check out the official prologue for ARR!

This video actually starts with the awesome finale cutscene of FFXIV 1.0, with Eorzea under attack and the secret of Dalamud revealed. After that scene (around the 5:45 mark), the movie cuts to the reborn realm where our heroes were transported, with their chocobo mounts conveniently waiting for them.

The movie doesnít add much to previous trailers, but it sure makes me excited to start exploring the new Eorzea right along with them. ...
