Square Enix released the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Demo! Run, don't walk to try it out! Rebirth is the second part of the final fantasy VII remake. The demo will be two parts, the second part to be released later with an update. The first part is available now! You can find it in the PlayStation store!
Playstation's State of Play went into a lot of detail about what to expect in Rebirth. It has a lot of spoilers though so check it out if you want to see thing like maps, minigames, the skill tree, and all the lovely composed songs we will see in the game.
The “Fall of a Hero in Nibelheim” demo features an extended flashback section, as Cloud Strife recalls an earlier mission in his career as a SOLDIER – “the Nibelheim incident.” This mission takes place five years ago prior to the setting of the game. The world is called Valisthea and it's studded with large mountains of crystals the people of this world use to build their countries. These are the Mothercrystals mentioned in the trailer.
Mothercrystals generate a power called Aether which is used to create magick and helps the people of the world live comfortably.
The world has six great nations that have built their homes near these Mothercrystals. An uneasy peace has existed between them but that is all changing thanks to something called the Blight.
Summons are called Eikons and they reside in a chosen person called a Dominant. Dominant's are treated differently based on their country with some being treated as royalty while others are mere weapons to their people.
The Grand Duchy of Rosaria is where Joshua and our hero Clive live. The nation fights over their Mothercrystal,
Square Enix revealed Tifa will be joining the Final Fantasy Dissidia NT roster soon! She'll be arriving on the arcade version June 27th, 2019 and the Playstation 4 version on July 3rd, 2019. Check out her reveal trailer!

Square-Enix is still churning out some great videos showing off the 3D remake for the SNES classic Secret of Mana. Today, they revealed the new opening/prologue video which depicts the battle between the Mana Beasts and the Mana Fortress.
Secret of Mana will be available on February 15th 2018 for PS4, PSVita, and Steam.

Why make every DLC for Final Fantasy XV the same, amirite? During Square Enix's Presents E3, they showed off some gameplay for the new DLC that is coming out June 27th, 2017 for Final Fantasy XV. This game features the character Prompto in his own scenario.

So Square Enix has made it official. Final Fantasy XV and all the games, shows, and movie are now under one umbrella. This is the Final Fantasy XV Universe. They released a trailer for it at E3 2017.
