It's FanArt Friday! Welcome to another edition of Final Fantasy Fan Art Showcase of the Week, where we show the best of the best from DeviantArt! Your previous host Loony BoB will be taking a couple weeks off and has asked me to take over while he's off to take care of other things which requires his attention. Anyway, back to the showcase. Last week we showed off some excellent artwork, and this week we'll see another set of artists show off their skills. But you're not here for the text... let's get on with the art!

Final Fantasy Type-0 began its life as a PSP release in 2011 and this is very much obvious throughout the game. With that said, as it was released for next gen consoles with a next gen console pricetag and as such I intend to hold it up to the standards of a next gen title.

Welcome back! Sorry for the short hiatus, Miss Pumpkin's been sick as a... pumpkin? And was too busy sickly eating birthday cake! But never fear, for we have returned with tons of awesomeness stuff of awesomeness for you to enjoy! So... enjoy! Or I'll find yo-

For those of you who don't know, a gigantic model of Titan holding up a crystal is hidden on Episode Duscae. You're not really meant to be able to get there, as it requires you glitching your way out of the boundaries of the map. A video with this was posted by Tyson on the forums the other day, but I felt the video missed out a few details on how to do it so I've made a guide for Eyes on FF. The guide comes in screenshot and video formats so use whichever you prefer!

If you didn't pre-order Final Fantasy Type-0 HD you're unfortunately never going to get a chance to play the demo for Final Fantasy XV, as it was only with pre-orders and Square-Enix isn't planning on releasing it separately. So instead of missing out, why not experience Episode Duscae with me?

During Noctis and co.'s escape from Insomnia, the car breaks down and you're put into a sandboxed portion of the Duscae region with the quest of raising money to repair it. This is where our journey begins! You leave your vehicle in the capable hands of a mechanic known as Cindy, who, with her yellow coat and red cap, appears to be a scantily clad tribute to Cid from Final Fantasy VI.

Eyes on Final Fantasy has the distinct pleasure of being able to interview Orion Acaba, the voice of Nine in Final Fantasy Type-0 HD! You may know him from one of his many roles such as Ivar in Tales of Xillia, Gerome and Kellam in Fire Emblem: Awakening, Apollo Justice in Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Duel Destinies, and many more!
With the release of Type-0 HD being right around the corner, we decided to ask Orion the questions you've all been sending us from around the web about his thoughts on Type-0 and Final Fantasy in general. He's been very kind in giving us this opportunity and we're very happy he took the time out of his schedule to answer our questions! Without further ado, here's a written transcript of our interview. The full audio can be found at the end, including a shout out to Eyes on Final Fantasy in Nine's voice!

It's a FanArt Friday Type-0 Special Edition article! To celebrate the upcoming release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, I got in touch with one of my favourite artists on DeviantArt, the inspirational fountain of creativity that is Nick-Ian! He lives in the Philippines and has been lucky enough to play the Japanese PSP version of the game. With that in mind, not only have I managed to get you all a glorious glimpse of his amazing artwork, but I've also sent a few questions his way - and his answers are below!

As part of our continuing coverage of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and its upcoming release next week, we decided to have a little look at the battle system. After all, a battle system can make or break a Final Fantasy game, underpinning the entire gameplay and being what players spend an ungodly amount of time doing.
Here are the four things the staff of Eyes on Final Fantasy are most excited about trying in the Type-0 battle system.

Lets Play FFX HD Episode 69 - God Damn You, Daniel Towns
In our time with Final Fantasy X HD Remaster, I have made a fair number of excuses for being terrible at this game. There was sand in my eyes, the oven was still on, it was totally Shauna's Fault etc. This time though, I get to blame an external source. Find out why I hate EoFF owner Daniel Towns, this week on Lets Play FFX HD Remaster!

It was announced today at PAX East that Final Fantasy XIV's new Heavensward expansion is set to release on June 23rd, 2015. Not only is it coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, but Mac users are getting the game, as well. Pre-orders will be available March 16th, and fans who do so will be able to access all the new content four days early.
Heavensward is currently retailed at $39.96. Unfortunately, there is still no news available on how much the previously announced Collector's Edition will cost, so fans who are looking forward to the dragon statue will have to wait just a bit longer.
The Final Fantasy XIV YouTube channel uploaded a new video showcasing Ishgard, Dravania, Coerthas Western Highlands, flying mounts and more! Everything about this video is majestic and 4 million players (and counting) can't wait to get their hands on what Heavensward has to offer. What are you most looking forward to in the new expansion?
