To follow up on an earlier story, it is now known that Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle will be released for the Gamecube, but will require a Gameboy Advance to play. Developers are still working out the connectivity between the two consoles, though it's been rumored that gamers must use the Gameboy Advance as a controller while playing the game.
As seen from a Nintendo commercial which aired in Japan, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle appears to emphasize its multi-player capabilities. Despite the game's title, it does not carry over traditional gameplay from other Final Fantasy games and instead focuses more on action-based gameplay.
In addition, Square has revealed that Seiken Densetsu for the Gameboy Advance is a remake of the original Seiken Densetsu game, which was released in North America as Final Fantasy Adventure.
