Japanese Final Fantasy X Release Date

Final Fantasy X will be available in Japan on July 19, 2001. Two versions will be available. Version one will be on a single DVD disk selling for 8800 yen. That's about 1000 yen more expensive than other PS2 games and can roughly be converted to $70 US (ouch). Version two is a limited edition that comes on two DVD disks for 10800 yen. It contains higher video quality and is likely to contain more features than version one. Expect a November release date for the states.
