On September 18^th at the Tokyo Game Show Square Enix released footage of new gameplay elements to Final Fantasy XV. The last time we took a look at navigating the car and this time we take a look at chocobos and a fishing mini game to boot! ...

Square Enix's internal studio, Tokyo RPG Factory, released a new trailer for the new "90s style" RPG called Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna. It hearkens back to many of the games that made the former SquareSoft and Enix powerhouses, such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger.

It will have a top down view and ATB system from the Pre-Playstation 2 Era Final Fantasy games. Like Chrono Trigger, you'll traverse the world and seamlessly fight battles without screen changes. The game is set for a Japanese release in early 2016. No word yet on a International release. ...

Square Enix released a new trailer for their upcoming World of Final Fantasy game. The game style is a combination of Kingdom Hearts and chibi, making this possibly the most kawaii Final Fantasy game. It stars twins Reynn and Lann, as they travel the world of Grymoire, which is apparently a mash-up of various Final Fantasy worlds. ...

Yes, we're still not quite to Kingdom Hearts 3 yet. Square Enix revealed that Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is in development. What is Kingdom Hearts 2.8, you ask? Well just a few years ago, the most recent Kingdom Hearts was released for 3DS, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will be the HD version of Dream Drop on the Playstation 4. It's not only an HD remaster this time, we've got some brand new content as well!

Kingdom Hearts 2.8 will also feature a brand new playable episode called Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage –. This new Birth by Sleep episode will feature Aqua and will take place after the original Birth by Sleep has ended. This new episode will connect the stories to Kingdom Hearts 3



On top of that, there will be a new movie for Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover. This will tell the story of the Foretellers, which will connect earlier parts of the series history, and will be featured in the upcoming mobile game Kingdom Hearts Unchainedχ[chi].

I know this topic has been done to death over the last couple of years, but since I have quite recently just beat FFXIII for the first time, I was thinking it might be appropriate to start this topic again. Keep in mind I've only started XIII-2 now, and have yet to play LR, and I do believe those games will be better, but just bear with me for a while and try not to spoil too much

So let me just preface this by saying I don't hate this game. I was excited to see FFXIII finally come out on Steam so that I could finally experience it, and despite a lot of people saying bad things about it, it was the next main entry in the series, and as the massive FF nerd that I am, I had been itching to play it for a while. Spoilers: I didn't like it, though mostly because it was a wasted opportunity in many respects, and it simply felt like a chore to me. While I'm at it, I'd like to address the quite toxic stance many people who liked this game have had towards those that didn't - just because I don't enjoy it or see it as a bad game does not mean I do not like fun or that I played the game just to hate ...

Yes you read that correctly. Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy, better known as Final Fantasy Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden in Japan, or Mystic Quest in Europe, is getting a new title in time for the franchise's 25th Anniversary. The game started off the loved cult series known as the Mana series in the West. Whether the game will be a new remake like Sword of Mana or the iOS port or whether it will be a new game entirely is unknown, but we'll all find out next week. ...

The beloved wacky installment in the SNES trilogy is making its way to PCs in less than two weeks via Steam! Freshly announced by Square Enix, the Steam version of FFV is a port of the iOS version released earlier, meaning it will have all the extra features added in the GBA release (more jobs, an extra dungeon), as well as enhanced graphics, with sprites redrawn by Kazuko Shibuya - series veteran responsible for creating character sprites throughout the whole series.

On top of that, the game is supposed to have very low system requirements, which means it will be accessible to more players. Furthermore, developers promise FFV will be optimized for peak PC performance.
