Advent Children was originally available on Sony's PSP UMD format and regular DVD (ironically labeled "Special Edition"), but now the original version is being spruced up for a second release. Set to be released in February 2007, Advent Children: Limited Edition is a DVD release of the original film with quite a few extras thrown in.
For an MSRP of $49.95, the Limited Edition set will include all the original bonus features of the Advent Children DVD: Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII, deleted scenes, Venice Film Festival footage, Distance: The Making of Advent Children, Advent Children trailers, and sneak peeks of upcoming Final Fantasy VII games. In addition, it comes with an extended version of the Distance featurette, including brand new interviews with the English cast, and a host of other bonus goodies:
