Since it's re-release in 2013, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (now Heavensward) has managed to keep players engaged with consistently updated and new content. It's been having an amazing run, garnering with rave reviews across the board and a strong and rising subscription base. The latest patch, titled 'Revenge of the Horde' was released just last month the game and has given the game yet another shake up with new content to be cleared. Some of the content has forced strong opinions from me. Not all of them are good... ...

Hold onto your little pointy hats, Final Fantasy IX fans, because after months and months of promise from Square Enix that we would see beloved Final Fantasy IX on PC... It's here! Almost sixteen years since it's original release on the Sony Playstation in 2000, IX is finally back, and joins the rest of it's re-released brothers and sisters on Steam.


Get ready to celebrate and adventure once more with Zidane, Garnet, Steiner, and fan favourite Vivi as they take on another fan favourite.... Kuja! According to many Final Fantasy fans, this is the best entry in the series and if you haven't played it, this would be a great opportunity to do so as the game has had some minor updates; both graphical and for gameplay.

It's a great day to be a Final Fantasy fan! I'm sure many of you will be rushing to pick this up and relive it all again!

With the remake of Final Fantasy VII well under way, it wasn't long before some new and updated figures busted their way to our shelves too. Kotaku writer Mike Fahey took some photographs at 2016's Toy Fair of what appears to be the prototypes for some new Cloud and Barrett figures which we might be able to get our hands on in the near future.


They're looking pretty good so far, and it makes me wonder who else from the beloved game we might see getting a revamped figurine!

So, if you've already got a Balthier, then why not get his best friend/lover to keep him company? The details on her are absolutely amazing and she looks almost as if she may come to life any minute! I've seen Fran get some well deserved love on this forum, so I wonder if any of you guys will grab one for yourself!

Fans of Final Fantasy will always speak fondly of the music that plays through each scene - from the most action packed, to the most dramatic and heartbreaking. As of today, the official teaser website for the newly announced Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: All-Star Carnival has been opened! During the latest Active Time Report for Final Fantasy XV, fans were given a few more details about that mysterious Dragoon from the early trailers. We can now reveal that her name is Aranea Highwind (yes! Highwind!) and she's the commander of Niflheim’s Third Army Corps 87th Airborne Division. If you want a more straightforward explanation of what that means, it basically means that she's the leader of an all Dragoon army. Pretty badass. ...
