Knight |
Strong class that's able to use many "Knight Swords", which are very powerful. Uses "Cover" automatically and protects allies that are near their bitter end. |
Monk |
Very strong at the beginning. Since the Monk uses no weapons, s/he is very easy to equip. Randomly counterattacks when attacked. This class is one of Lenna's cuter sprites, imho. |
Thief |
Very fast job class. They are able to steal items that the enemy may be carrying. Have the very convenient B-Dash ability. |
Lancer |
Advancing on the enemy like flying dragons, the Lancer's "Jump" is pretty nice when you want to keep a character out of the picture for a little while. That, and they just look REALLY cool. |
Ninja |
Ninjas are able to equip two weapons at a time. They are essentially an upgrade to the Monk. Very useful. Don't underestimate the power of their throwing either. |
Samurai |
The Samurai has a "$Toss" attack that'll save you from certain death more than once. |
Berserker |
One of those "useless" classes, the Berserker is very strong and fairly fast. The only thing is you can't tell him what to do. He just does whatever he (or she. >_<) feels like. Supposedly they are the best class for mindlessly levelling at the end of the game. |
Archer |
The Archer or Ranger class allows you to summon animal friends to perform moderately useful heals and less useful attacks, and you can attack safely from the backrow, but the ultimate power of the Archer is !Sshot, or !Rapid Fire. You fit four times. Eight if you are dual-wielding. Just think about it for a while. |
Sorcerer |
This class has a very nice special tool. One can use the power of black magic to enhance their attacks. |
White Mage |
These guys use White (recovery) magic. VERY useful You probably won't get by without having one of these, or at least someone with White as a secondary slot. |
Black mage |
Also a very useful job to keep around. They use Black (attack) magic. |
Time Mage |
Less important, but still rather useful. You won't need Time/Space/Jikuu (Effect) magic as much as the other two, but it will help immensely. |
Summoner |
Calling upon his mystic magical buddies, the Summoner is a massive fighting force to be added to the team.... but only once you get some good Call Beasts (NOTE: Some beasts won't go willingly and you'll have to prove yourself worthy by fighting them). They have excellent magic stats, so give them some other magic to blast enemies with if you don't want to waste MP on the summons. |
Blue Mage |
My favorite class, the Blue Mage learns attacks from his enemies. He is able to then mirror these attacks on other ememies, bringing fun to all! :D When you have a party of four Blue Mages, you tend to learn blue magic very quickly! |
Red Mage |
Red Mage is a fair fighter, and can low levels of both Black and White Magic (shouldn't he be called a GREY Mage? O_o). He's GREAT at the beginning of the game, but there's a limit to the levels of magic that he can use. He's worth maxing levels, though, for a certain ability that requires 999AP to earn~ |
Trainer |
Trainers capture monsters and then throw them back into the face of bad guys! I haven't found a really good use for them, but I'm sure there is. It's just FUN to go out and capture bad guys, though. Hee hee. |
Chemist |
The Chemist can "Drink" power potions and become more powerful. Also, he can "Mix" up some of your potions and stuff, and come up with new effects in battle. Some of these are REALLY useful. Plus Lenna looks adorable as one^_^ |
Geomancer |
Using the power of the land, Geomancer attacks his enemies. His power is determined by the type of ground the current battle is being fought on. Level him up a bit so you can use abilities such as Avoid Traps and be able to null damage from floors made out of lava etc |
Bard |
Umm.... he sings. You obtain songs from people all over the world, and it's fun... but he doesn't really do all that much. |
Dancer |
Little known fact about the Dancer. He RULES!!! I love getting all the ultimate dancer gear and just Sword Dancing away until my enemies are dead. |
Mime |
This is a really cool (if not terribly important) class. They can Mime the latest action done by a team member. That means if Bartz summons Bahamut, and Krile Mimes it, you'll get one free (that's NO MP) cast of Bahamut. |
Hello FF players.
I would be glad, if anyone could give me a hint.
I mastered Lenna for Mysticknight, Ranger and Ninja.
