Close gate #3 and gate #10. Go down the #3 pathway and use the #1 South Waterway control pedestal. Now go back and open #3 and #10. Open #4 and #11, go down the #4 pathway, and use the #1 North Waterway control pedestal. After that go back, open #11, and close #3. Finally, go down the #1 pathway and the esper will be at the South end. | |

| In the Mosphoran Highwaste go to the Babbling Vale. Talk to the Learned Man and then the caravaner that is south of the merchant. This will reveal a hidden path that can be followed by chocobo. Touch the Shrine of the South Wind in the Babbling Vale South and some plants will appear. Now, go Northeast to the Rays of Ashen Light and feed the chocobo some gysahl greens. Ride it South into Empyrean Way and a plant pathway will be off the right. Cross it and keep going to the Skyreach Ridge. Once there keep going to Bubbling Vale West and touch the Shrine of the West Wind. Near there you will find a rock that can be knocked over to make a path back into town. Once back in town, go back near the Learned Man and touch the Shrine of the Northwest Wind. The way to Exodus will now be open. | |

| Ultima is in the Great Crystal of Giruvegan. Make your way to Way Stone VIII and go through the Scorpio Gate. Your first time through the crystal there is a good chance your party will not be at a high enough level and you'll have to return sometime later. After going through the Scorpio gate use way stone IX. In the next area, pass way stone XX and choose either path to reach the Sagittarius Gate stone. Touch it and return to the Sagittarius gates. Touch gate I and go to way stone XI. In the next area choose the bridge that goes up to reach the Gemini Gate stone. Use it and continue to go upwards. Ignore Gemini Gate I, continuing towards Gemini Gate II. After gate II you can choose either path to get to way stone XV. In the next area take the upward bridge to the Libra Gate Stone. Touch it and then head back the way you came towards way stone XVI. From there go right to Libra Gate I. Go through and keep going up to the next area. From there take the left upward bridge to the Capricorn Gate Stone. After touching it, go all the way back the way you came to way stone XVI. Behind it is a downwards bridge that goes to Capricorn Gate I, and then the Virgo Gate stone behind it. Push it and head back to way stone XVI. The center bridge will take you to the next area where you can go through either Virgo gate to way stone XVII. From there you will find a save crystal and the path to Ultima. | |
