Xemnas (Ansem) Number One The Superior |
|
Element | Nothing |
Nobody | Sorcerors |
Weapon | Dual Lightsabers |
The Leader of Organization XIII, the Nobody of Xehanort, the apprentice of Ansem the Wise. He in control of Organization XIII, and plans on using Sora to access Kingdom Hearts in order to regain his Heart. Like his Heartless version, Ansem, the Seeker of the Dark, Xemnas is also collecting Hearts to acheieve a master plan, but his has no intention of destruction of the Worlds. Cold and callous by nature, he plays the part of the confused student, pretending that he has emotions. In truth, he is arrogant and blind. His weapons are of mysterious nature, and can best be explained as a manifestation of his power. Oddly enough, he does not walk through walls nearly as often as his suboordinates do. |
Xigbar (Braig) Number Two The Freeshooter |
|
Element | Space |
Nobody | Snipers |
Weapon | Dual Automatic Rifles, they merge to become a sniper rifle |
The second in command of Organization XIII. Able to control the power of Space and the Sniper Nobodies. First identified at the Land of Dragons, Sora confused him for Riku, and in doing so, Xigbar gave a quick and sarcastic reply. Like his Nobody counterparts, he enjoys staying out of the way, and often when you duel him, he changes the arena to benefit himself. Originally one of Ansem the Wise's disciples, he followed his friend Xehanort to abandon his body to acheieve greater power. He also explains to Sora that for every Heart that fights a Heartless, there is the possibility of there being a Keyblade for that Heart. Before the duel, he refers to Sora as Roxas. In the American version, Xigbar's true name was mistranslated to Bleig, and in the sequence during his duel when he attempts to assassinate Sora with a sniper rifle, his crosshairs are changed from an actual scope to three cone-shped spots that triangulate Sora's location. |
Xaldin (Dilan) Number Three The Whirlwind Lancer |
|
Element | Wind (Air) |
Nobody | Dragoons |
Weapon | Six spears, two in the right hand, and one in the left, the other three float around |
The third in command of Organization XIII. A controller of Wind and an adept fighter in the air. He is seen multiple times in Beast's Castle, attempting to convince the Beast to allow himself to be consumed by the Darkness, to become both a Nobody and a Heartless. However, he is stopped by Sora and the Party. While he seems to be the collected type, he is actually talkative and enjoys a good argument, even oferring an ultimatum to Beast before his duel. Originally one of Ansem the Wise's disciples, he followed his friend Xehanort to abandon his body to acheieve greater power. In the American version, Xaldin's true name was mistranslated to Dilin. |
Vexen (Even) Number Four The Chilly Academic |
|
Element | Ice |
Nobody | Unknown |
Weapon | A large shield of ice |
The fourth in command of Organization XIII. Formerly one of Ansem the Wise's disciples, he joined the others in attaining power for a price he felt was worth the cost. He is often portrayed as a bookworm who spends most of his time learning. In KH: CoM, he is seen somewhat in charge of the other Organization XIII members who are with him. In Chain of Memories, he duels Sora at the command of Marluxia (whom Vexen, Lexaeus, and Zexion had set out to stop) and is about to reveal Marluxia's plans, but is killed by Axel. His Ice shield is able to block nearly every attack made from the front of him, and he often uses his powers to slip up and to slow his enemies. The Ansem reports suggest that Even was a friend of Xehanort, interested in the experiments that were run on him. |
Lexaeus (Elaeus) Number Five The Silent Hero |
|
Element | Earth |
Nobody | Unknown |
Weapon | A large tomahawk axe |
The fifth in command of Organization XIII, yet he does little to exert his powers or influence. As his name suggests, he is rather quiet despite his disposition to be loud. In KH: CoM, he is killed by Sora during the duel, in which he often used his powers to shake and change the shape of the battlefield. Together with Zexion and Vexen, the three of them set out to stop Marluxia's plan to usurp the power of the Superior, not that Xemnas knew anything about it, or their self implied mission. He had abandoned his form long ago, and joined the other five disciples in attaining power at the cost of their bodies. |
Zexion (Ienzo) Number Six The Cloaked Schemer |
|
Element | Unknown |
Nobody | Unknown |
Weapon | Unknown |
The sixth member of Organization XIII. Most details are unknown about him, as he never actually participates in a battle. A born strategist, he hides in the background, manipulating and making conspiracies and schemes and scheming, as his schemish name implies. With Vexen and Lexaeus, he had set out to stop Marluxia in Castle Oblivion, but was undone by one of his own plans, absorbed/killed by the Riku Replica, who did so believing that he would become real. He had abandoned his form long ago, and joined the other five disciples in attaining power at the cost of their bodies. The Ansem Reports also state that Ienzo was the youngest of the apprentices of Ansem, and also influenced him to create a laboratory in the basement of the Castle. |
Sa?x Number Seven The Luna Diviner |
|
Element | Moon |
Nobody | Berserkers |
Weapon | A large claymore with a circled end |
The seventh member of Orgnaization XIII, yet he is so influential and respected by others, that he might as well be the second in command. Favored by Xemnas, Sa?x is often seen as the enforcer of the Organization, bringing order and quelling rebellion (KHII only), yet restricted until Xemnas allows him to fight. Like all Berserkers, he is a very powerful warrior, who when dueled, creates shockwaves on the ground, and is empowered by the lgiht of the Moon of Kingdom Hearts. his defense however, is shoddy at best, and is vulnerable to the results of his own recklessness. It should also be noted, that he has an intense dislike for Axel, and brands him a traitor to the Organization. He dies pleading to Kingdom Hearts for his Heart. |
Axel Number Eight The Dancing Flurry of Flames |
|
Element | Fire |
Nobody | Assassins |
Weapon | Dual Chakram |
The eight member of Organization XIII. He is truly the most bewildering of all the characters; while he claims to support the Organization and is intolerant of those who would seek to become traitors, he is often the one doing the rebelling. In KH: CoM, he feigns friendship with Marluxia, and pretends to help them even by killing a higher ranking member, but betrays them after a certain point. In KHII, Axel is very much an active member, but has his own agenda. An enigma to be explained at best. It should be noted that Sa?x has an intense dislike for Axel. In battle, he is not much like the Nobodies under his command, and often ignites the arena with flames and lava. After a certain point, Axel is able to exhibit true emotions, which only a being with a Heart can do. Unlike all other Organization members, he tries to help Sora genuinely, even to the point of self-sacrifice. He is also best friends with Roxas, not that the latter remembers him at all. |
Demyx Number Nine The Melodious Noctourne |
|
Element | Water |
Nobody | Dancers |
Weapon | A Sitar, essentially a magic guitar with a blade |
The ninth member of Organization XIII. He is often sent out my the Organization to do their work, and is often playing the fool of the bumbling and clumsy agent. Hilariously done, but his disposition in battle belies his true nature. In battle, he is fierce, despite his protests claiming that he is not "the right guy for this mission," even mentioning it to Sora while surveying Olympus Coliseum. He often taunts Sora, which give clues to which attack he will use. Like his Nobodies under his command, he is very fond of moving around, and making many confusing attacks, including some that trap Sora, and one where he even begins to sing as though he were onstage. This attack will often kill you, if his Water forms do not. |
Luxord Number Ten The Gambler of Fate |
|
Element | Time |
Nobody | Gamblers |
Weapon | A deck of 52 cards |
The tenth member of Organization XIII. Like Zexion, he is far more of a strategist than a fighter, and sees everything as a game, with rules, methods, and tactics. He is often acting behind the scenes, but he does show up to bewilder Sora, and in one occasion, to recruit a Heartless to turn people into Undead Pirates. When Sora and Luxord finally clash, he uses his element to fight, and often attacks Sora with his cards. His battle is one of the most non-traditional battles, but is often won if you fight normally. He is also far more laid back than any of the other members, yet is the only one who cuts his hair. |
Marluxia Number Eleven The Graceful Assassain |
|
Element | Flower (Nature) |
Nobody | Unnamed, appears at the end of KH: CoM |
Weapon | A large, pink scythe |
The eleventh member of Organization XIII. Marluxia is the Lord of Castle Oblivion, and enacted a plan to usurp the power of Organization XIII for himself. Transpiring to take over the Organization, he conspires with Larxene to make it work, and takes advanatge of Namin? to enact his plan. During the last battle, he is shown merged with a large unnamed Nobody, assumed to be under his direct command. However, he is stopped by Sora, and with that, the events of Kingdom Hearts II begin. He is the only member besides Roxas who is present in the opening video. |
Larxene Number Twelve The Savage Nymph |
|
Element | Thunder |
Nobody | Unknown |
Weapon | Dual Dueling Claws |
The twelfth member of Organization XIII. She is also the only female member, and is probably in control of the Lawyer Nobody. Like all members, her emotions do not run along the lines of genuine joy or happiness, but rather, she is sadistic by nature, and often enjoyed torturing Sora and Namin?. In battle, she is most agile and fastest of all the members, probably being afforded by her more lithe and superior female anatomy. |
Roxas Number Thirteen The Key of Destiny |
|
Element | Light |
Nobody | Samurai |
Weapon | Dual Keyblades (Oathkeeper and Oblivion) |
A young boy living in Twilight Town. He is consistently haunted by dreams of the Keyblade Master, Sora. Why or for what reason this is occuring, this is unknown. While he is usually used in a non-combat enviornment, he has skills that are yet unknown. Where he came from, or why the Nobodies continue to berate him are unknown. Truly, he is the Nobody of Sora, the Keyblade Master, and duels him at Memory's Skyscraper, and was defeated. Captured by DiZ to fulfill his own methods of revenge, Roxas was defeated by Riku and put in a simacrulum Twilight Town. By nature, he is like the other Nobodies; cruel and cold, even to his best friend within the Organization, Axel. However, when fate transpires, he is contacted by Namin?, despite DiZ and Riku's plans. At the end of the game, he and Namin? are reunited with their true forms, and are last seen, living contently within their other selves. |
