Axel The Dancing Flurry of Flames (1st and 2nd encounter) |
||||||
This member of Organization XIII has a mastery of fire to be reckon with. He holds back his attacks in your first encouter with Roxas but the second time around, watch out! He also kneels when preparing an attack, so use this time to pummel him. When flames surround him, run, as this attack does major damage, and another of his attacks is that he also throws his weapons 6 times, but it is a short range. When Roxas access his two Keyblades, Axel's attacks change slightly by adding his ability to change the floor into lava and shooting up pillars of fire. |

Barbosa and Illuminator
Like all Pirates that are cursed, you need to lure Barbossa into the Moonlight in order to damage him. While Barbossa mostly has melee attacks, he can also use his gun to shoot Sora with. The Illuminator Heartless that helps Barbossa during the duel pops up at times and absorbs light, making for himself a darkness, hiding Barbossa in it, and making him invincible. Simply look for a small patch of eyes that glow, and attack it. When the Illuminator is killed, it also drops small Drive Orbs. Unfortunately, it also revives. |

A magic user and generally annoying Heartless that can float slightly above the ground, meaning you will mostly use your aerial attacks (not necessarily bad). It alternates being the main adversary, often moving out of the way, and if it does, ignore it. Demyx The Melodious Nocturne (1st and 2nd encounter) |
||||||
In the first encounter, you are required to kill 100 water forms in less then 80 seconds, this will require all your leet triangle button mashing. You cannot hurt him yet. In the second encounter, you are required to kill 50 water forms shaped like Demyx in under 40 seconds and another 10 in 10 seconds once the ability is used. Also, all of his attacks are ranged, but those that are close up do massive damage. You can either focus on using Donald's Limits, or enduring the power of water yourself. Surviving his kill 10 in ten seconds is VERY difficult, and the key, is to use the Reaction ONCE, and kill the forms manually after that. If he gets close, and turns the battlefield to a stage, go for the Reaction, causing massive damage and stun. |

Fought in Christmas Town, the Experiment is a poorly put together contraption of parts. As such, the battle plays similarly to the description. Grim Reaper (1st and 2nd encounter) |
||||||
In the first encounter, this is a normal button mashing fight. In its present form, it only really has mediocre damage dealing attacks, and high amounts of HP. Strike for damage. In the second encounter, you are challenged to less button mashing, more strategy.Cursed by the Curse of the medallions, the Grim Reaper has the unique ability to become invincible entirely for periods of time, as long as it has a Medallion outside of the chest. To stop it, you must recollect the Medallions from the battlefield, and Return all of them to chest (as indicated by a small counter at the top). Fortunately, like most Undead, it suffers deleterious effects from magic, including being slowed. |

Your first encounter with Hades cannot be won. The goal is to destroy all the Heartless in one of three section and then moving on to the others. Take advantage of Auron's Limit, and take out many of the Heartless at the beginning of each phase. In your second encounter, you fight him in the new Hades Cup, an essentially rigged battle. Hercules' Reaction Commands are the key to winning. When you hit Hades with the Reaction commands, his head turns from Red to Blue, meaning that he is vulnerable. Strike as hard and as fast as you can before he reverts, which takes around the time for an Orb to dissipate. |

A battle fought on the Carpet, so make sure your skills are up-to-date. You can go one of two options, to deplete his stomach's HP and stun him with a Reaction, or go straight for the Head, which is much faster, but more painful. Jafar also creates several small stationary floating things that have HP, but serve little purpose except to deal damage. When he transports you to the whirlwind dimension, the idea is to dodge the buildings that are hurled at you; during this time, Jafar will remain completely out of range, so wait until the background is once again Agrabah. |

Both parts, Pete will use bombs that roll on the floor and explode, like proximity mines. Pete also causes shockwaves to crash around on the floor, but can easily be avoided. The second part, you are assisted by Hercules, including two Reactions that can protect you against Pete. Unfortunately, there is a two minute time limit. There are several other Timeless River battles with Pete for the Cornerstone and also to defeat the current present Pete, he will join forces with you. His attacks and special reactions are covered in this area. Also Sora's Victory Bonuses. |

One of the most heavily HP fortified enemies, and his HP only increases further if you have already completed Port Royal. Like all Berserkers, Sa?x leaves himself open to the same Reactions that afflict his subordinates. Though he does not have a very good defense (or any for that matter), his attacks in Berserk Mode are dangerous, including as to how fast his Berserk Bar fills which indicates when he goes Berserk. When you see Sa?x rise into the sky, run and wait for him to drop his Weapons, and then pummel him with a Reaction.

A difficult enemy, whose attacks are most fire and thunder based. A rather direct fighter, with plenty of HP. The best way to take off HP is to take advantage of Simba's Limit and use it whenever Scar is close. If Scar surrounds himself in flames, or electricity, simply use the Dash ability to flee until Scar calms down. Then, annihilate him.
